Works great in a 2002 GP1200R needed to blow the metal shaving out of the threads other than that no problems

Poor quality
Wear ring loose and falls out of housing, guide sleeve holes improperly machined causing guide sleeve to be loose. Absolute garbage.

It works, but takes a couple modifications
I purchased as a used( returned) item. It was like new no complaints there. It works as good as the factory one, but isnt just bolt on. The recesses for alingnment pins on hull side are not as deep as the factory recesses, so pins will bottom out about 2mm before housing seats. You will have to shorten alignment pins to 10mm in order for it to work, if you dont the pump will probably break on first ride. The threaded holes on impeller housing side will strip if you try to pull assemblies together with bolts, i had to find one longer bolt to fix a hole that threads let go tightening it. That may or may not be a normal issue, i may have caused that one on my own. Others have mentioned the wear ring is too long and is slightly loose in housing. It is designed to slightly compress the wear ring lengthwise to lock in place when it is tightened down. Comparing to my other identical ski, it does not seem to cavititate as much on hard takeoffs. For the price is a no brainer once alignment dowels are shortened.

Bad part, rude service, do not buy!
Do not buy this product. The bolt threads do not start consistently near the surface of the housing therefore the screws do not grab when installed with the other jet pump components. Some of the holes are threaded properly but not all four. They sent me a replacement when I called the first time, but the issue was the same. When I installed it, I took the boat out for test run and the jet pump assembly blew apart! I would have lost two of components in the water if the steering cable wasn't there to keep them loosely attached! When I called the second time to express the same problem, the guy said I tightened them too tight, which was wrong as I hand tightened them properly. Both times, the guy on the phone was very rude and never apologized for the inconvenience. I use my boat for work so now I'm out for a few more days as I hunt down another replacement!See the pictures; the bolt has not been screwed, it was just allowed to drop as far as it could until the threads stopped it. One of the holes allows the bolt to drop 10mm before threads are effective stopping it...!If you do purchase, ask about the threading!

Not very good quality
This housing must have been on the shelf a long time, there was a lot corrosion/oxidation on the inside where the sleeve goes. The outside was dirty and had a rough finish, definitely not like the picture. The wear sleeve is quite thin, not like many I have replaced in SeaDoos. The sleeve was also VERY loose, when you side it in the housing it actually goes out the opposite side a bit (it is a tapered sleeve). Most sleeves are a press fit and in the case of SeaDoo rings I actually put the housing in the sun for a while and the sleeve in the refrigerator ... makes them easier to press in. These, the sleeve just falls out, it will definitely move around in the housing. I wanted to get back in the water so I put Yamabond on the inside of the housing and put the sleeve in. Hoping that will keep the sleeve in place. I'll see how this works for the couple of weeks that are left in the skiing season. I'll pull it apart after and see how it looks. Fortunately the impeller housing in a '99 Yamaha 1200 XL Limited is easy to remove and reinstall :-)
