DecalGirl Decorative Skin/Decal for Nintendo Wii U - Retro

I've purchased several of these "skins" for my various elecronics ; laptop, 3ds ,xbox360, and this one is probably the best cut to fit. There is a slight gap of maybe .050" between each decal so there is no need to trim them. I am not a patient man, and still managed to apply it all in about 25 minutes. It looks fabulous in my entertainment center, and the decal has openings for all the buttons, heat vents, and lights. There's even a decal for the bottom. On fact the back end is the Only side not covered by decals since It's 75% grill vents and cord plug ins. The gamepad decal is one piece, it fits great. I didn't have any issues with buttons not being centered in there cutouts, and it fits right up to the screen edge. I am very satisfied with this product and would definitely buy more "retro" decals from decal girl.

It's often said that one can never go home, again, and that phrase was never so apt.This skin isn't terrible, but it certainly is a bear to apply to your Wii U. As with any system that has smooth curves with beveled edges, this skin doesn't really wrap well. While holes are there to allow for ventilation and various bits and bobs to stick through, it's virtually impossible to accurately align the skin with those vents, legs, and edges to end up with a uniform, seamless package.The front parts of console skin don't align very well with the other parts of the decal, which is maddening for those of us who demand perfection.Would I suggest this product? Likely, no. Will I keep it on my system? Again, likely, no.

The skin looks good on the system and does a good job of protecting the game pad. The main system skin does come in multiple parts and the ends don't match up properly. Over all a decent product that will protect the finish of the Wii U.

It takes a lot of patience applying the decal. Took me roughly an hour to get it lined up and bubble free. It is actually cut to the wii u; you just have to make sure it is aligned up with the other parts. First decal I bought for any of my systems and this first decal did not disappoint.

Works great, but there was a sharp bend in it when I received it that I notice every time I look at it.

Amazing! I had my friend look at it and he thought my system came like this! DecalGirl is amazing and I will never buy products from other skin companies if DecalGirl has it!

Love the look that my Wii u and gamepad pimps out! Brings me back to the good old days. Have someone help out in carefully positioning the decals so you won't mess up.

only problem i had with the stickers was i've got shakey hands so i coudn't fit them on correctly but it keeps the gamepad on console clean
