Q: How long do you have to take this before you see the effects?

I just take it and go on about my business. Give it 3 months. that's how long it takes for your body to have new blood which is produced in the marrow of bones. Novice speaking who had to have a blood transfusion for anemia and was crying. Dr. said don't worry your blood will replace it in 3 months.

Q: How does this compare to glucosamine-chondroitin?

A number of credible studies found chicken based CU-II more effective on joints than chondroitin. Chicken soup made with chicken bones was effective, as well. Same principle.

Q: How large are the capsules?

Forget about those people telling you they are large. They are NOT. They are small to medium and thin. Most people should have no issues swallowing them.
