Bought for the cap, cap doesn't fit the original one.
I bought it because it was cheaper to buy the whole thing vs ordering just a replacement cap. Some point in time a previous owner lost the vented cap and just used any none vented cap that fit... but this cap will not fit the original VW reservoir on my 69 Beetle. So I have to use the new one.
