Spontex Sponge Cloths are ideal for wiping and cleaning all surfaces. The cloths are treated with antibacterial agent, zinc pyrithione, which protects them against the development of bacteria and odours, keeping them fresher for longer. The cloths are very absorbent and each cloth can soak up to 160ml of water. They are strong and durable, extra think and reinforced to make them long lasting. They are very supple, easy to handle and wring out. The cloths are made of cellulose and cotton making them 100% biodegradable, so once they are finished with they can be popped straight into the compost pile.

Great but hard to find
These sponge fiber reinforced cloths are great in the kitchen and work a lot better than paper towels. Re-usable again and again, hot or cold liquid clean ups, wiping out the microwave or refrigerator, cleaning the stove-top (after cooling down). Anything you would consider using a paper towel for is going to be done as well or better with one of these sponges. In the end, a lot cheaper and sturdier than paper towels. I use a roll of paper towels in a year now. I used to use two or three rolls per week. You won't be disappointed with the product, only your ability to find occasional replacements. Keep any unused sponges in a ziplock bag until ready to use. They do not store well once opened. So keep new ones in a sealed bag or jar until ready to put to daily use.

These are better than paper towels no doubt but not as good as other swedish dishcloths I've bought in the past.

I like everything about these sponges. They are way out in front of their competitors for absorbency, durability and as long as you rinse then after each use, they don't discolour or smell bad like some of their competitors.

These are great for wiping down benches in the kitchen or the sink in the bathroom after a good clean.Super absorbent but don't last very long after several uses with harsh chemicals or cleaning agents.
