I use them for my lunch for work. I'm in a van that gets hot from turning on and off consistantly for hours. My food is still cold/cool by the time I eat it. I don't pack a big lunch so they work for me. I use two at a time.

Awesome packs and well worth the money. I throw 5 in bag for lunch and they're still cold after 10 hours.

So I have had these now for a few weeks and they were exactly what I needed. I'm a Stay-at-home dad and I pack my wife's and sons lunches every day. These have been great at keeping their lunches cold until lunch. Granted it does depend on the lunch box/cooler. I threw two in each of their lunch bags and when I get them back at the end of the day they are still cold. I did drop one on the tile floor from about 5 feet up and cracked the plastic cap but it did not cause a leak at all. I like their shape because they can be stood up and do a more even chill in their box's. If you transport milk for baby these are great because they slide into the bottle cooler perfectly and do a more even chill through out the milk.

Finally bought ice packs that do NOT leak and keep my husbands lunch cold all day!! My husband leaves his lunch sit in his truck and it is 90+ degrees outside so > 100 in his truck. The little packs keep his lunch and soda cold all day. They pack nicely in his lunch box. I like that they are narrow and I can lay two on the bottom and then put his soda and sandwich on top of them and then put two more on top. I'm basically sandwiching his food between the ice packs. I have purchased the cold packs prior to these and was so sick of the cold packs leaking there toxic gel into his lunch box! I searched for something different and saw these and I'm so glad I bought them. I recommend them if you are looking for something that will stay cold all day.

These came in extremely handy during long days at Disney. Saved us a ton of money in drinks and snacks and kept everything nice and cold.

Freeze them and put them in your lunchbox to keep your food and drinks cold. I like that the slender, rectangular design makes it easy to put most anywhere and doesn't take up much room.

I've had these for a couple months now and they worked GREAT! No complaints whatsoever. They don't bulge or leak. Love the shape and style.

I work 12 hour shifts, and will typically pack a small soft-sided cooler full of lunch and a few drinks to get me through my day. I had a couple of the bigger Igloo bricks I had been using, but they developed a big bulge in one side and I didn't trust them any longer. I looked at these and loved the concept and potential flexibility they offered for packing into a cooler. In practice though I find that there are a couple of minor things that could be better. First, being smaller individually these don't stay cold quite as long as the larger blocks. They stay cold enough to get me through a full shift, but I wouldn't trust them much beyond 12 hours. Second, while the size and shape of these provide a lot of flexibility, I find they don't always stay where I put them in the cooler and so don't always keep my drinks as cold. What I would love to see is to have some kind of connector molded into the sides of these so that you could hook them together to make a bigger block. I may try to get some velcro straps or something to keep them together and where I want them. Other than those minor things, these have been great.
