Red Wine and Shallot Gourmet Sauce By Christian Potier (3 Packets 5.07 Oz)

I 1st discovered Christian Potier 'a Premade sauce packets at TJ Maxx not knowing if they we're going to be tasty to me I only purchased one of each flavor, what a mistake they are fantastic! I studied French cooking and feel that I know what I'm talking about :) to create the wine shallot sauce would take a good 8 to 12 hours now you can have it in 10 seconds just stand it up in a microwave safe glass For 10 seconds and pair with lightly seasoned Steak! Or Chop and you are instantly a gourmet Chef!! One packet of sauce is between one and a half to two servings depending on how much sauce each person enjoys? I like it heavy on the sauce and the husband like it light, we use 1 pack per meal. I will definitely buy again.

As a French in the US, I sometimes miss the French food flavor.That sauce is really yummy and I feel like I am in France for dinner ;-)Highly recommend it.

This is not made to order sauce- for sure but it’s not terrible. I used on a mediocre cut of beef and it upped the level slightly. I would really have been disappointed if I had wasted a good steak with this sauce. Make your own, you’ll be much happier.

It ain't cheap, but adds a great addition to a meal. I had it with a tri-tip roast and it was delicious. It might be a bit expensive as an every day sauce, but for those occasions where you want to treat yourself (or someone else) to a nice meal it is hard to beat. I will definitely by more.

The taste is very interesting and add alot to a steak. Very strong in shallots. Not so much in the wine. For me it was too it expensive for me to use it regularly.

Really good! I microwave it for less than a minute and it's perfect! Tastes great :-)

Awesome taste to this product. You have got to try it for yourself. We never cook steaks without it.
