Q: Can men use this, or is that against the fashion police laws?

Men can definitely use this, fashion police be damned.

Q: Could this hold an iphone usb adapter (wall plugger-inner thinggee)?

I doubt it. It makes a perfect coin purse as designed. I use the top compartment for paper money and one side compartment for coins, the other for business cards.

Q: Does the key ring fit inside one of the zippered compartments?

Takes up a lot of room if you keep the key ring inside. To me it just gets in the way and most peoples sets of keys would be too bulky making the whole thing too unwieldy, unless you only have one or two small keys.

Q: Does this come unzipped easily when keys are attached (like by accident)?

It probably would if you put the keys right on the ring hanging from the zipper. I put a clip carabiner that hooks that ring and my keys all in one. I love mine, as it is easy to keep the keys with it, or take them off for other situations if you need to
