First, I'm reviewing the 5 inch orange-stick ones and I'm giving them 5 stars because they are useful for exactly what is suggested: camera lenses [including phone lenses], almost certainly ink-jet print heads, and things of that nature. However, the consistency reminds me of a soft styrofoam, and I mention this because they aren't absorbent. This isn't a criticism because they cleaned my phone camera lens well, and I've cleaned enough ink-jet print heads to be sure they'd be good for that, and that's because you don't need them to absorb, you just need the gunk to adhere to them, and they work for that. And the BIG upside to these is that there is no lint, fiber, anything at all that's going to stick to whatever you're cleaning.The thing to note, and the reason I said "think about how you'll use them" is that they are not absorbent, so if you have something that's going to require anything wet to clean, I don't see these working very well. For instance, I tried cleaning the screen on my phone and while these will go that, it feels as though I'm gently abrading the surface and that's not a great idea. The screen would clean better with damp wipes of some kind.I tried these on a keyboard which isn't in bad shape but could use some cleaning and they aren't effective, as they're just too dry. I tried a little rubbing alcohol on them and that helped, but honestly it's just not a good match, in part because they are too thick to get between keys.Packaging-wise, it's not a bad deal: I don't know how many I got (I'd guess 200, not the 300 one would expect, but this was a Vine thing) but inside the outer bag there were 4 smaller bags. The bags are sturdy, but not meant to be opened and closed, you cut them open. You could cut a small hole in each bag as you used it but I'd suggest taking each of the smaller bag and putting those in a zip-lock bag.

These foam swabs are a must-have when working with optics, electronics, or anything else that benefits from lint- and residue-free cleaning. This 200-count bundle is sure to last a while, and I like that it comes separated into convenient 50-swab packs. Highly recommended.

When I first ordered these Wellgler's Foam Cleaning Swab Sticks for Inkjet Printer, Camera, Optical Lens, Guns (Orange), I wasn't sure how effective they would be or how many would come in each order. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and found that each order contained 200 swabs (4 sealed pouches with 50 swabs each). Next, I was impressed with how well they worked. The main problem that I had with using regular cotton swabs to clean things like camera lens edges and other small electronic parts was that they often left fibers behind. I sometimes used makeup swabs to clean those things because they have foam ends like these Wellgler's Swabs. Unfortunately, the makeup swabs were often too small or too thin to do the job, or could not even get to hard to reach places. These Wellgler's Foam Cleaning Swabs have long, sturdy, easy to hold sticks, and the foam ends are thick, wide, and soft. They work great on my phone lens edges, my security cameras, and the various small sensors I have on my electronics. Best of all, they don't leave any fibers or residue behind. I even like the bright orange color sticks, which are easy to see and appealing to look at. All in all, I've been very happy with these swabs and would order them again when this plentiful pack of swabs eventually runs out.

I am extremely happy with these Wellger's cleaning swabs!They are surpass my expectations.+ The 4 inch long plastic stick is easy to hold unto and I can not break them.+ I think the amount of force you can apply to stick before bending is perfect for size of swab.+ Amazed at sturdiness of the foam like material even with paint and solvents.I do not even have a single negative. I can not get the swab to come off the stick which is great. If I clean something sharp it can cut the swab, but it seems to hang in there without pieces falling off.To be honest, I seldom find a product I like so well. I gave some to a friend to try and he was as amazed as I was.

The media could not be loaded.  I used these swabs for cleaning up my cake boards to remove food dye or icing. I really like that they are foam. No worries on leaving behind lint. Also with it being foam I can rinse it and continue to use it until my project is complete. They are also great for cleaning crevices in the car like vents and around gear shift. Definitely recommend

Lint/fiber free, dense foam swabs that are sturdy and highly versatile. Wish I had these in my life before now. I tried them on my keyboard, and my car vents. Manipulates with ease- I can provide light pressure or deeper pressure,and the foam picks up gunk. The stick lightly flexes, but not overly so. I feel in control of it.There are 4 packs of 50, for a total of 200. I am stashing some in our general purpose cupboard so mu husband and I can grab them as needed for whatever. This company offers different sizes, so be sure to check out the measurements to determine which is best for your needs. These seem like an excellent multi purpose foam swab.
