Q: Are they not sucking air though? Since there's no covering on the other end of the nipple.

Its a pacifier. It doesn't have a hole in it like a bottle nipple does. Its the kind of pacifier that hospitals recommend and give out at birth or in the NICU.

Q: Does your paci smell like peppermint or is it just mine?!?

Mine did not have a smell. Sorry! I do know they sell vanilla scented pacifiers but I have not heard of anything smelling of peppermint.

Q: Does this damage baby mouth?

WubbaNubs are made with a Philips Avent soothie pacifier and are orthodontic. The collapsible and symmetrical nipples respect the natural development of baby's palate, teeth and gums. I hope this is helpful.

Q: Is this for 0-6 months or older baby?
