No more hummingbird mess on our deck!
This pole is super well made, very sturdy in high winds. I was surprised at how easy it was to install on our wooden deck support. I hung 2 large hummingbird feeders on it with no issues. It has a tightening knob on it that makes it super easy to turn the pole towards the deck to refill the feeders, then turn it back out away from the deck and know that it will not move. No more poop on the deck! Bonus - it is made in the USA.

Survived a Bear Attack!
This is the first year we put a bird feeder out. We live way out in the country and very close to a National Park. We didn't think a bear would come on our deck (which sits high off the ground), reach over the railing, lean on the pole and give the bird feeder a whack! We knew it was a bear by bear paw prints left on the deck and our outdoor surveillance camera. The camera caught this young bear lurking around our house at 3:30 am on the night of the attack. The bird feeder was knocked to the ground and destroyed, but the pole didn't budge, bend or break. Beside a few bear claw scratches, it looked brand new. We now bring our feeder in at night.I recommend this pole. If it can survive a bear attack, it can probably survive most anything.

Does the job.
The hook does the job and it was easy to install. I question that the rubber "high wind" gasket will last and the tiny shaft stop pin seems wholly inadequate. On the other hand there seems good reason for these design details. Much more and it would have been more expensive. Time will tell. Over the following year If renewing bird seed cartridges proves relatively easy and the thing doesn't fall apart I'll raise it to 5 stars.

If You Are Handy and Have the Time Build One Yourself
The paint job on this is horrible. My six year could have done a better job with a can of spray paint. I have not faith this will last more than a year or two before the paint comes peeling off and it begins to rust. Also, you could save yourself $20 and buy all the parts/paint at your favorite hardware store as there is nothing unique or special about this product. Time for someone to build a better mouse trap.

Good pole but poor mounting hardware
The pole itself seems good quality, and the packaging as well as instructions were useful. However the mounting hardware seems a bit flimsy. In particular, I managed to bend (!) one of the mounting screws while installing this. I ended up using instead two deck screws for the main mounts, which seem plenty sturdy. I would suggest they ship these with more quality mounting hardware / wood screws.

It works!
This Double Hook Swinging Bird Feeder Pole was easy to assemble, and although getting it installed wasn't as easy as I would have liked, it is sturdy and it works great. I'm very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a longer deck pole to reduce the mess and discourage chipmunks, squirrels and turkeys (yes -- turkeys) from being able to reach the feeder from the railing.

High quality, works as promised, easy to install
What else is there to say. I hang one or two heavy feeders. The pole is secured onto the side of a window. It was easy to install, and helpful videos show how. How to enjoy the birds upstairs. The arm swings in for easy filling.

Flimsy mounting hardware
The two mounting clamps (conduit clamps) that come with the bracket are flimsy and essentially useless. As soon as something is hung from the arm, the clamps bend and twist out-of-shape to the point that the arm is pulling off of the post. Other hanging brackets that come with a long, one piece clamp, are much stronger and able to support the weight.
