Verdusa Women's Elegant Ribbed Ruffle Half Sleeve A Line Dresses Fit and Flare Midi Dress

This dress is a keeper because it will look good on women of various physical shapes. I am curvy and 5'4. The dress stopped at about three inches below my knee. The color choice will make a difference in how the dress looks on you. Choose a color that you feel will be flattering. I chose maroon because I didn't want to go with black. This was my first dress and I liked it so much that I then ordered two other colors. I think it's true to size. I'm about 160 pounds and ordered a medium. It was not tight and I wore shapewear under it and paired it with boots.

Ordered this dress in navy. This is a beautiful dress. The material is light weight and the fit is super confortable. I would give it 10 stars.

This dress is cute and versatile and runs very small. I am 5’2”, 100 pounds, 33-23-34in, for reference, and usually wear xxs to xs, or kids size 10/12 T-shirt (not tight), and both xs and sm in this dress are too small. I like a fitted top in a dress bc, at my size, I can be overwhelmed by too much fabric in the top. This however feels like sausage in casing too tight. It is also a tad shorter than it looks in the picture, which does affect the silhouette. The price is a little high for fabric and construction, but to find something comfortable and no-iron with an elbow sleeve and modest neckline these days is tough, and this dress could go from a kid’s recital, to the office, to a funeral (unfortunately why I ordered). I’m returning, but have ordered the next size up because I really like the basic shape and modesty of the dress, if I can find a size that works.

I just received this dress in the mail and I straight way tried it on. I love it! Things to note for further shoppers :) I am 5'6" and 170 Lbs and I ordered a large (I almost ordered a medium and very happy I didn't, it would have been waay too tight for my liking) and the fit of the dress right now would make Goldie Locks very happy :) it's just right. It came just below my knees right where I like it. It is flattering around the tummy area where I hold my weight due a mommy tummy. It does show the lumpiness of the back bulge due to bra but that can be fixed with proper fitting bras and such haha I just haven't gotten one yet and it is not bad enough to make me no like the dress. :) The neck is smaller than I was expecting but still not an issue for me. I do have a small head for a grown adult but once on it looks great. The neck doesn't strangle and that is something I hate and can tell right away when trying on a garment with a small neck if that is going to be an issue and it's not! Yippee! The arms fit very nicely and over all I am very happy with my purchase. :) hope this helps!

I was pretty sure I would really like the dress when I ordered. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it in a 2XL. At 5’4” 195 40DD the dress fit perfectly. It modestly hugged each and every curve while remaining classy. The length was slightly longer than expected. It was slightly further than what I would refer to below the knee and actually was about mid-calf length. I purchased in black to wear for a funeral. I paired with black pantyhose and 2” Mary Jane style black heels. I think it would be cute with a belt, also. The fabric was not sheer or see thru. I received one compliment after another. I was comfortable and confident wearing the dress. I highly recommend!!! I think I want another in a different color. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have pockets.

I got compliments on this dress but it was a bit snug. I'm a solid American Medium but this dress runs a bit small. I would've returned it for a larger size but I didn't have time and had to wear it. It is very flattering. It is a great price. I would wear it again if it were a bit bigger. Maybe I'll lose weight.

EDIT Feb 2025 - I noticed that this dress has changed in style and fabric since my purchase. It is now ribbed fabric with high neck. My dress is a V-neck with a smooth (dressy) fabric. Weird that they would include previous reviews for a different dress! I do still love this dress. I will try to post picture(s) of my dress when I can in case the style changes back and forth in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW - I needed a dressy dress for playing in a string quartet for a wedding. I like to have some "decoration" to the sleeve and for the sleeves to cover top part of my arm without restricting movement. Must be long and "loose" enough in the skirt that I am not self conscious while sitting with my arms up and with people looking at me. This dress fit all my specifications and the shape is so flattering! Fabric is dressy and so it can be easily dressed up or down with shoes and accessories. Highly recommend this dress! Good quality material and construction.
