I'm a professional waiter at a nice place, I use this thing all the time. It's been serving me well for a few months so far, I'm quite pleased. I'd definitely purchase again. With that said:The case seems pointless because there's no way to attach it to a belt of apron or anything.The engraving is pretty low quality. It's actually clearly a stamp process & it just doesn't stamp evenly. If you're a waiter your guests will never notice, it's not like it's really bad, but it's just not the quality the pics make it out to be.As a waiter, I don't really like the knife. It's serrated and pretty long. The serration makes it easier to tear the foil & not get a clean cut. It's also slightly too long so it's a tad awkward. Again, nothing crazy, but the blade is this wine key's weak spot.I've dropped it in nasty water around the dish pit/ice machine a few times & the wood is worse for wear. You might consider trying to waterproof it? Better just trying to take better care of the thing that I have because the wood isn't super high quality. That probably means the designs with less wood & more metal might last a touch longer, but I'm probably over analyzing it.Anyway, if it just had a slightly shorter, non-serrated blade I'd give it 5-stars. Oh, and it's obviously a two-stage wine key but the proportions are such that you can actually quite often get the cork out on only the first stage. But you'll often spill if you do so just take it a little slowly the first couple times.

Working at a wine bar I open several bottles a day. So this wine opener gets very heavy use and so far has held up really well. It was stiff at first but from constant use it loosened up. It's great priced and I love the flower design. Being the only woman there, it's easy to tell my wine opener apart from the guys. I even had it engraved with my initials so they would stop stealing it. Highly recommend.

workes good old looks great, but you can screw it as far in as you think, the the hook is too far down to hit the top of the bottle, the should work a bit on the proportions!

If you are looking for a wine key that can also double as a bottle opener for beers, look elsewhere. Bends at least half of tops tried, requiring a second go with frustration. Does as intended for wine bottles.

Very well designed and sturdy. Most corkscrews leave you struggling to get the last little bit of stubborn corks out. Not this one. It is very easy to use and extracts the cork completely every time.
