Great, functional product perfect for camping or off grid cabins, etc.BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TIGHTENING THE FITTING FOR HOT WATER OUT. You need to be extremely careful and delicate or you can break the unit. It’s meant for camping and garden hoses. If you are doing a permanent installation with something like pex and brass fittings, be very careful and gentle.MAKE SURE AND DRAIN THE UNIT DURING FREEZING TEMPS. This is super easy and takes five seconds. I’ve lost 3 of these to freeze damage.For any kind of permanent installation, YOU NEED A PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE IN THE HOT WATER LINE OUT JUST A FEW INCHES OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT. This will keep your pipe from exploding in the event that the heat exchanger gets clogged from degree in the water supply and hot water pressure builds up inside the unit.If you have a shower that automatically mixes hot and cold water (one handle) it’s possible that you may only get warm water if your water source is very cold.The best kind of faucets (sink and shower) for this water heater is the kind that has a separate handle for hot and cold.This allows you to get only hot water. Some faucets that have only one handle will mix hot and cold water even when the handle is turned all the way to hot.This is only a concern when temps are below 40 degrees.

This is my favorite purchase on Amazon. It held up for over a year until I traded in my RV. I wish I would've kept it. The water will get super hot, super fast so be careful.

Product was great for the first week but then the hose for the shower attachment broke…:( other than that it works great water gets instantly hot.Updated to 4 Stars! Seller saw previous review and gave me a partial refund to purchase a replacement shower set for the unit. I would suggest buying a better quality shower set attachment that’s metal vs the one provided. Also, be sure the unit isn’t used in any area with high winds the flame will blow out and gas will continue to run if the water is on…I had flames coming out from the bottom of the heater when turning it off and back on immediately after it blew out!!!Updated to 1 Star!!!! August 26, 2024 - Unfortunately, the unit stopped working in less than the 1 year guarantee (Ordered on June 4, 2024). The heater ignited and immediately died out, so we removed the front cover to see what the issue was and discovered that the wires and battery pack had melted. I loved this heater when it worked. I think they need to redesign the heater better to protect the wiring and batteries from the flames before someone gets seriously burned.Camplux reached out and offered a replacement, but shipping to Hawaii was too expensive so they asked if I would purchase another water heater from Amazon and provide them with the order number they'll arrange a full refund for the new order. I haven't yet made the purchase and asked for a refund instead but have not received a response.

Initially, this outdoor shower unit was amazing. I used this product in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California this past fall and was extremely grateful, living off grid as I do, to have the ability to take a hot shower after a long day of working on my property. However, after about a month into using it, I noticed a bulge in the shower hose developing. The bulge grew bigger and bigger, until the hose burst. Not a big deal. I replaced the hose with another sturdier hose and thought nothing of it. Then, last week, with the first freeze, the handle burst down its seam. Again, no big deal, as I had a spare. So I replaced it and figured I was good... till I went to fire it up later that day and water started spewing out everywhere, starting from inside the unit. The water extinguished the propane and shut the unit down. I took the unit apart and assessed the damage. A brass water manifold inside had split in two places. I tried liquid weld, but that only lasted for one more shower, before the manifold cracked again. I ordered another brand and hopefully it lasts longer than this one did.Personal edit update: This company actually reached out to me, apologized for the inconvenience and sent me another unit, which in this day and age, frankly, suprised the hell out of me. The replacement machine seems to be working (though the shower handle did split down the middle on the third use which was frustrating, but fixable using another handle that i happened to have.) but time and use will tell.So a bump up and extra star added for excellent customer service. Thank you1/6/25: Outside of the water nozzle issue previously mentioned, this unit has continued to do well and I am very pleased with its utility and ease of function.

We've had the 1.3 gpm heater for a year now, Buy it. Its not expensive and works great. We've used it to add hot water to our stock tank pool before summer heated it up. We've used it while camping- when we had running water. The pressure is nice. I have longer hair and have had no issues washing or rinsing. My husband love it and my 15 yr old. Definitely worth the $. We're even building a glampground and will be buying more of these.

If you are looking for a budget friendly tankless water heater that works great this is it. I was a little skeptical when I purchased this about 3 years ago but it does the job. Awesome water flow and heats up in just seconds.First it’s super easy to install and move around. We have used it camping, to heat up our little pool and just hand it outback to clean up after doing yard work. Product is a 10/10!I currently ran into a small issue with my unit after 3 years and reach out to Camplux directly. They took care of the issue I was having without hesitation. I will certainly buy from this company again not only for their outstanding product but because customer service went above and beyond my expectations.ThanksJonathan Powers
