Awesome fun phone with impressive power
This was my first Amazon "Renewed" phone purchase. The LG Wing itself is a fun amazing phone. The best way I can describe it is, fun. First off, the phone came in great shape. Not a single blemish on the device outside, feels and looks like it was never even used. It even has the plastic on the periscope camera that comes from the manufacture telling me the device was not used very much or at all. With that one indication the device may have been used is battery life. It drains incredibly fast leading me to actually buy a replacement battery and I plan on installing that soon. Reading and watching reviews of the LG Wing it seems it originally had pretty decent battery life but this seems excessive. The phone itself is a blast. When you want a normal "bar" style phone it does the job just fine. The phone is slightly underpowered for a 2020 released flagship phone, the processor it has is fine for a 2019 phone but slightly underpowered for a 2020. With that everything else about the phone seems great, screen is bright and sharp even though it is 60hertz rather than 90 or 120 but that isnt a big deal for me.Once you get the screen swiveled out the phone really gets fun. The ability to multitask is amazing and I say that while also owning a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. It multitasks just as well as my Fold 2 if not better in some aspects. If you want a boring phone don't by this one, if you want one that is a beast for multitasking and turns heads when you slide it out then pick this one up while you can. Be cautious though with LG stopping their cell phone department updates and repair may be hard. LG has promised updates through Android 12 but they could easily change their mind. Seems security updates are coming in every couple months which is a good sign.

You get more than you pay for
This is my first Amazon renewed device. I have been reasonably pleased so far. The phone was just under half the full price, and so far as I can tell a month in, the only indication it was pre owned is very minor micro scratches to the top of the main screen, visible only directly under very bright light sources, which a screen protector easily masks. The phone itself is lovely. A large, beautiful screen with very restrained curved edges looks very modern, and because of the small radius of the curves you don't get so much of the awful glare sometimes seen on these devices. The single bottom firing speaker is ample, a pale shadow of the galaxy s20 fe it replaced, but certainly loud and clear enough to enjoy streaming video on.The fingerprint reader is reliable, unlike the s20 fe I mentioned before, a phone that also hung and crashed more than a device of its pedigree ever should. I've had a good experience with the software, the phone running stable even with a midrange processor. Genshin impact, a common benchmark for performance, runs smoothly in single screen mode. The main gimmick, the secondary display, is quite useful, even if one must make effort to find use cases. In my car dock, which is fixed in portrait orientation, i can swivel the screen, placing it in landscape despite the dock orientation, and even using a second app if so desired. Maps and music are an obvious combination, but far from the only one. Indeed, my favorite use has been during breaks at my job. I work in manufacturing, and our breaks are quite short. With the swivel screen I can browse news and speak with my wife without having to switch apps. It looks cool, and it works smoothly and is quite practical. The cameras are quite nice. The lack of a dedicated zoom is unfortunate, but the software cleans up digital zoom pretty nicely, and the ultra wide lens performs as well, rendering nice looking shots. The video is similarly fantastic, with smooth, high quality footage and crisp, clear sound. My only true complaint with the camera setup is the third lens that should have been a telephoto zoom. Instead it is a sideways second ultra wide lens, designed to be used when the second screen is open to provide a gimbal like experience. The regular camera captures well stabilized 4k 60fps video, but this secondary lens for gimbal mode is limited to acceptable but inferior full HD that isn't, to my eye, particularly worth it.Overall, I've been very pleased with both the Amazon renewed experience and my first LG phone, even if sadly this is pretty much their last one. I know I'll miss on software updates, but for the price and unique, useful form factor, I'm pleased with my purchase. It is sad lg has left mobile phone development, because US carriers have one fewer company challenging Samsung's frankly undeserved market share. This was a wonderful place for LG to leave off on.

What the f...
I remember specifically paying for the unlocked AT&T Phone, what did I get? A locked Verizon phone. So at the end of the day, I had to sell my soul to the devil to transfer my phone number of many years to Verizon. Let's double check our job people, remember, measure twice cuz you can only cut once. Other than that the phone is Great, love it. Best phone ever.
