EVERY SERVER'S DREAM COME TRUE!!!! MUST HAVE FOR ANY, EVERY, AND ALL SERVERS!!!!
I only recently realized what an asset this product is and always will be to my everyday life!!I ordered this product about six months and have used it every single day, recently I switched jobs to a restaurant that supplies basic server books to all the servers.I thought I would re-try the basic book just to go with conformity, that's when I realized just how much I depend on my waiter wallet and the reasons it is so essential and feel anyone trying to choose can benefit. To start with I am left-handed books are just made backwards to me so the flip top design is extraordinary. When re- trying a basic book I found that it was extremely awkward to hold my book open and write on the opposite side. Not to mention how EXPOSED I felt stading before a customer with a clear veiw to any cash, credit tips, a personal memo I had jotted down, I constantly felt like I was being judged. That is if I didn't open my book and everything fall out before I could speak. There are SO MANY options with my wallet I didn't think there was ever a way or reason to need or use them all, along with the flip top design it opens as advertised just like a wallet! Inside there is a divider that has 2 CC slots front and back (able to hold up to four) I use the divider to make four compartments, 1) cash 2)CC receipts 3) any discounts voids or otherwise modified checks and 4) my PERSONAL cash I had before my shift to make change or anything else. On the back of the wallet there is another slot for CC this is where my personal card for POS fuction is stored. With this function I don't have to dig in my pockets or book it run the risk of it just dropping out. At times I may be responsible for performing manager functions and have their card on my person, this is where the inside slots are handy being able to tuck the manager card safely away eliminates more stress than I can convey. No one can see it if I don't want them to so other servers don't ask for favors nor get upset I have that card and I'm 250% positive no one can access it leaving me with a mess. The clear pocket on the top plus I purchased an insert is so valuable I never realized how many times I referenced the information until I had to pick up a menu to check a side items and relay information I'm expected to know. With my inserts they are so easy and convenient to change or add to I make a note of specials to inform customers of or items I have difficulty remembering ANYTHING. You can write a date reminder and still appear efficient and knowledgeable. After half a shift with a basic book I left to get my wallet and will NOT make the mistake of leaving it again! The only frustrations I've had are that a) the material is not the best quality just basic vinyl u find on most but there is waiter wallet deluxe that I will be ordering soon that is more durable a d re-enforced, (there is no real damage to my current wallet just basic wear and tear I would have gotten the deluxe to start but I didn't know the difference. b) 4*6 note pads don't seem to be as readily available as made to seem and I feel WW pads are a bit costly but it's possible to find 4*6 pads a decent rates.Anyone debating to purchase this product i recommend to add a couple bucks for the deluxe, or undecided to purchase at all this product pays for itself within a couple months after not losing cash or getting decreased tips bcz u look like an unorganized slob and overall confidence!!!!!

Worth every penny
In my restaurant, funny as it may be, we use fanny packs as opposed to aprons or just check presenters and pockets, so my initial thought was that with multiple pockets secured around my waist that I wouldn't need something as small and trivial as this "Waiter Wallet."Boy, was I wrong. My issue is organization. Even with, like I said, a fanny pack secured to my waist with multiple pockets, I couldn't keep all my stuff in order. My restaurant is very busy and when I'm in a hurry, everything gets thrown in my fanny pack somewhere. It's easy to think all your cash and receipts are safe with pockets, but when you're in the weeds and just shoving everything in there, you don't notice how easy it is for stuff to fall out. It has resulted to lost cash and receipts. Now of course this may be just be a personal issue, but the Waiter Wallet, though I haven't used it much yet, has noticeably helped me out.First off, the actual wallet part itself. It's very secure. When it's closed, nothing is falling out of that wallet. Even when I'm taking orders and the pad is open and the wallet exposed, it still doesn't open enough for anything to fall out accidentally, which was my biggest concern. There's also a divider with slots to hold cards. While I typically don't like stashing customers credit cards on me, I find it useful for other things (i.e., guests rewards program cards, coupons, and I personally like to put big bills like 100s and 50s in there, folded up, just in case of the cash ever falls out, at least it will be the smaller bills.) One thing I did notice though was that, with too many bills, the wallet is hard to fold. But, in that event, I noticed that if you push all the cash to one side of the wallet, it's just wide enough to hold it all on that side.Second, the clear pocket on the top half. It's perfect for writing down the specials, prices, and any general info that could be useful at your table. I work at a restaurant where they don't list prices on a lot stuff and it's hard to keep them all straight. The plastic is pretty decent quality yet still very easy to read through.Next, the order pad. While I do like the pad that Waiter Wallet provides, my restaurant provides order pads for us, so I will not be paying for more from Waiter Wallet. Has slots for seat number, drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. There's ample space in each slot if you're good at abbreviating and writing a little bit small. I also like that this thing is universal, you don't have to use the waiter wallet pads. There's a slot that you can stick the back of your order pad in to hold it. The pocket on the bottom half is a nice touch too. Perfect size for a tiny calculator, which comes in handy for those times when you have to make change for multiple checks and you just can't bother to do mental addition and subtraction.Lastly, the POS card holder on the back. Seems to be attached pretty well, don't think there's any chance of it ripping open. And my card glides right in and out with ease. Now I haven't had it for long at all, but the material, as sturdy and well put together as it is, does seem like it's not going to last a super long time. I can see myself needing to replace it within a couple years, not that it's the end of the world. Still an overall awesome product that I find to be worth every penny, especially if you've ever had issues with keeping everything organized and neat mid-rush.
