A very nice looking BBQ. However, it does take about 3 hours to assemble.

Once I put the casters on the bottom deck it was a free for all the illustrations were not clear and the directions were confusing.When I finally was able to put it all together, It was a well built and a sturdy grill. Being Stainless steel made it very attractive and a great addition to the backyard and patio deck. Used it only 2 times so far and it worked flawlessly. (surprisingly all the ignitors worked!!)I came across a little downside, the Searing area of the grill is not strong. I had a searing section on my last grill that was way hot, this on is like a big burner on a stove not at all powerful and should not be called a "searing station"

First, if you're looking for a grill with a real sear burner, look elsewhere. This is NOT a sear burner, it's just a high output regular burner with a wider flame tamer. That's my own fault for not reading the description and the other reviews more carefully. That aside, a major component (the "cart front beam", which holds the tops of the doors in place) came with the holes drilled in the wrong place on the right side, requiring me to drill new holes in order to complete assembly. Not an insurmountable problem, but one that shouldn't have happened. Although the grill was securely packaged, both side panels were badly bent and the stainless steel parts had numerous dents, scratches, and dings. This must have occurred at the factory, as there was no shipping damage at all. On the plus side, the grill works, comes up to temperature, and does a decent job, but the flame tamers are VERY narrow, with wide gaps between them. Overall, this is a mediocre product.UPDATE: After using this grill through the summer, I'm downgrading it to 1 star. The BTU ratings for this grill must be wildy inaccurate, because it simply doesn't cook or char anything in any reasonable amount of time. It just doesn't get hot enough. Even cooking burgers takes forever, and they come off the grill looking like they've been steamed instead of char broiled. A very disappointing purchase. Don't waste your money.

I do the BBQing in the family. The one I had worked but struggled with lighting, and my husband would need to light it for me so I could BBQ. I finally told him I needed a new one for Mother's Day, and he surprised me with this BBQ. It was easy to learn how to cook the perfect steak, and I am very happy with it.

Item is good, but had a number of cosmetic ‘dings’ . Not enough to return, but enough to be disappointing . Worst is on door which makes door ‘wonky’ and not secure closed. Interesting there was no damage on shipping box, so the damage was done by the manufacturer.

Not for the hobbiest griller..hard to get grill marks on food..side burner works well

Ordered this grill on March 10th. The first time I used it I could not pre heat above 375 degrees. Contacted Royal Gourmet. Rep indicated the regulator was probably defective and shipped new regulator with hose. I replaced the regulator and can now pre heat to 600 degrees. Customer service was very helpful and understanding.

This grill is light weight. It takes a while to put together. If you are not mechanically inclined, pay to have it installed. The striker has not worked yet.I gave up on it and I am using a long lighter. Other than that it works great.
