I purchased this hat to use on my beach vacation. It was easy to pack and sprung right back to life after being rolled into a tiny log and stuffed into my suitcase. It was comfortable, lightweight, and kept my head, neck, face, and decolletage well-protected from the sun's harmful rays with its built-in SPF protection. I love the black tie neatly wrapped around the hat... but if you're not a fan, its easy enough to remove. 5 stars for this hat. Finally! A ladies hat that fits and doesn't cost an arm and a leg! I have a big head and hats that are "one size fits all" never fit me. When I saw that there was a sun hat that came in sizes and wasn't going to break the bank I had to try it. I am so happy with it. The construction is really nice. The hat was well packaged, and there was a plastic insert to keep the top from being crushed. I did have to lay it out on a counter to get the brim to settle down (I just placed a few items on it to flatten it out overnight), attach the neck cord and loosen the velcro that's hidden in the band (and done nicely so it's not irritating your head) and it's ready to go! Just tight enough that I don't have to worry about it blowing off, and loose enough that I'm not getting headaches after an hour.This is one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon.

I went hiking and sightseeing in the Midwest where the wind is quite strong and the sun is too. I am easily burned and am always concerned because skin cancer runs in my family.This hat was up for the job of protecting me and keeping fashionable. The strap actually helped a lot on windy days out in the prairies of North Dakota. So far, it’s also kept the sun off of my head and face. When friends around me wearing baseball caps cane out looking like lobsters, I only received light sun on my shoulders. I highly recommend this product!

This hat is amazing! Taking this hat was a life safer when in Europe at 108F (during this years July-August heatwave). Highly recommend it!Pros:-Can be rolled to be packed-Medium-wide brim (4”)-Will fit big heads as the max circumference is between 23”-24”-It has inner adjustable strap to custom size it to your head, it fits big heads! (Typical hats are too small but this one goes a tad bigger than 24inches!)-comes with detachable string (so when is windy you will not loose it).-medium stiffness on the brim = brim is NOT going to flop down on your face :)Cons:- Not available in black- Cannot be washed- the brim is not as huge as the picture but rather a medium size of about 4inches

This is a very awesome hat that offers really great sun protection. It's my first time ordering a UPF hat and I'm really happy that this one fits me (I have a pretty normal sized head though so ymmv).Pros:-Adjustable strings on the inside to make it smaller if needed-Strap that is adjustable so your hat doesn't fly off your head (very useful for me because I live in a windy area), you can also take it off easily if you hate it-Looks well made and durableCons:-My mom said it's "heavy" which I can agree- it's not like a straw hat, but I don't mind it being heavy one bit-The black band is just glued on which I'm not sure if that's good or bad, maybe good cause you can just take it off easy if you don't like it?

The product is very good quality with thoughtful packaging and clean looking detail (e.g., the ribbon tie is nicely placed on the hat and the seams are well done). It looks great on--the brim is not small as someone said, but not huge either. It's slightly floppy and can be shaped just a little bit. I'm very happy with the purchase and will turn to this company first in the future when I need another hat. I also bought another style hat from this same company and it is equally as good.

I am very impressed with this hat. Great price and quality! Very parable and the ribbon trim is good quality and returns to shape quickly. Love the mixed khaki I ordered with black ribbon. I am nit a big hat person, but as I age and have sensitive skin and sunlight can trigger my migraines, I must wear sunglasses and now, more and more , hats. I am ordering a second one in !aege as I see. To be on the borderline of size. Whichever I do not choose I will gift to friend or family so they can see how great it is. I am seldom this impressed but just love it. Also loved the packaging and inserts with information about the products . I know this sounds fake, but I like it a lot. Have a beach trip with family for first time in several years after a health crisis and really needed a hat quick and no opportunity to go out to shop. Just perfect!

Got this hat for a beach trip and it was a lifesaver - a stylish one at that! I was afraid from the pics it wouldn't be floppy enough but it was perfect! Made of quality materials as well. Size medium fits a bit snugly, but that is good for keeping it on your head when you're on a windy beach. Highly recommend.

I struggle to find nice hats that fit my big head AND don't cost the earth. This is beautiful, adjustable, affordable, just perfect.

I had a stroke some 2 months ago, have since been told I have a dodgy ticker - on Amiodarone to help restore sinus rhythm but drug doesn't allow for exposure to sunlight or UV without relatively major damage and/or discolouration to skin. No way to live for approximately a year! So, thought I'd try this. The style is lovely and quality top notch! Sure it comes a little creased and / or out of shape - due to a combination of the packaging and broad brim but that's relatively easily sorted. The broad brim doesn't allow for exposure of any area of the face, neck and chest area to sunlight which means that I can resume walking outdoors. Sure, the size of the brim does make people stare etc. but who cares? It's my skin, my head and I'm being allowed to resume some normality. Certainly a 10 out of 10 from me!

I was loosing the will to find a hat. I was a bit nervous on this one but it fits perfectly and the hat is just right. Looks casual yet elegant. It's a USA company so go with the medium size as it comes out big unless you have a huge head. Hat is true to what you see in the photographs as is the colour.

Super happy with this purchase. I bought it the day before going to Croatia because I wanted a cute sun hat. The hat arrives in a box with a plastic part that keeps the head shape. I've actually kept this so I can store the hat with the plastic part inside it. It squashes down quite well to travel with. You have to sort of smooth it out when you unfold it but it doesn't take a lot of effort to shape it how you want it by hand. It came with a little instruction guide on how to care for it/ fold it/ wash it etc. Genuinely surprised how at nice this was in terms of quality.

Absolutely like described and holdable, I kept in my suitcase for more than 12 hours when flying on holiday and hat was same shape like I put in the suitcase. Recommend. Thanks for the seller.
