Q: Is this 3 foot tray actually 39.5 inches? I need a tray for my 3'x3' & 4'x4' tent. I need it to be a little bigger than the 32 inch one!

The actual tray measurements are 31 1/2 x 31 1/2

Q: Is this a heavy duty type of container? How thick is the plastic?

It's thick, but brittle. Mine came with a chip and hole in the bottom. I returned it.

Q: what do the support rings atach to?

On my 32 inch by 32 inch tray there are no “support rings”.

Q: Can this be used as a flood and drain table

Flood and drain systems need to flood to cover all roots or some will die. A drip system may work best.
