Awesome melt and pour soap base
Great great soap. Since it has the shea in the soap it feels nicer on the skin than other melt and pour bases. I added fine msm powder to it to help with psoriasis. I also added some (a small amount) beeswax so the soap would not disappear so quickly in the shower. It smells fantastic and took to the mold very well. I am super pleased. Half the block of melt and pour base made 12 of these. I added 3 TBSPNs of beeswax and 2 TBSPN of fine powdered MSM and a few drops of lavender oil. I love it. It makes a great soap for my face. I will purchase this again.

Great base!
I have been using this to make sugar scrub cubes, and it works really well. It melts quickly and evenly in the microwave, and combines nicely with the olive oil I'm using. I am not using dyes so I can't speak to that, but it takes the lavender essential oil scent I'm using very well. It sets up well. Great product!

Awesome soap base!
I absolutely LOVE this soap base! It melts well and is easy to manage. I melt in a glass measuring cup in a pot of water on the stove, take off when all is melted. I allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes and add my essential oils for added benefit and smell. This base has decent lather on its own, but I do sometimes add a little liquid castille soap for additional lather. It is ready to go about 30 minutes after pouring in the mold! Highly recommend!

SFIC corporation is the Mfg.
SFIC Corporation.com webpage has .pdf with ingredients. They make great soap without harsh chemicals. I put just a little of the shea butter in all my soaps.

Perfect for dry skin.
They sell all of the SFIC soaps but goats milk which is my go to. I tried the oatmeal here and it was drying so I tried this next. This one is great. Creamy like the goats milk and doesn't dry the skin out. Took color and fragrance easily. If you have dry skin this is the one.

Great soap base
I'm a beginner soap maker. This melts fantastically. I melted it in a double broiler. Added a few drops of scent. Mixed in dye. It made 6 oval soaps about 1.25 inches deep and 3 inches long. I just bought another pound because I'm hooked.

Decent soap.
It's ok. I wasn't bowled over by it like I wanted to be. It's soap. No smell (which I like). Gentle on the skin (mine and the dog's). Very little lather (typical for a natural soap that appears to be made with little to no castor oil, which adds lather).

Melts and pours nicely
I like that this brand sells 1 lb blocks since some other brands sell only larger blocks. This was easier to manage when cutting (used a large soap-cutter). It melted and poured as expected, and feels pretty nice on the skin. Tip: I like strong fragrances, but this soap holds fragrance well enough that it is unecessary (in my opinion) to put the maximum amount of oil that it can hold. I made this mistake with lavender oil on my first batch, and had to throw it out because it was SO strong that it was nauseating. Maybe if you are using a more subtle scent it would be fine, but I thought I might share my experience to prevent others from making the same mistake!
