The size of these bowls are extraordinary!!! You don't often get bowls in the size of a dinner plate, and they make great bowls for pastas and salads. You don't have to dig down deep into the bowl and push food (especially salads) all over the place to get any out and onto your fork. Love it. The only thing that could be better and would make this a five-star bowl is if it didn't have the little moat around the inside edge which pools your liquids and sauces around the outer rim. Not my favorite part of a bowl like this, and if I found one that DIDN'T have that in this size, I'd probably buy them. But overall, these are great. Terrific size, really well made and nice lids. Highly recommended.

I like these containers!6 cups will hold most normal leftovers, so the size is right. I have used the bottoms in the microwave, and they work beautifully [as stated in the ad, the lids are not microwave safe].My only negative is the lip is too small, so getting a liquid-proof seal is not possible. After I carefully sealed the lid [2 thumbs carefully pressing down, and four fingers pressing up as I ran them around the rim, starting at the back and meeting again at the front], I had pot roast 'gravy' leaking when I tipped it. Make the lips fit better. Then they would be perfect!

Very low quality. The lid on the top bowl in the stack was cracked.The lid and bowl both are very flimsy and cannot possibly hold up long.I do not know how there are any good reviews on this.I bought these because of the size. I have other sizes from other manufacturer's that are excellentI strongly suggest avoiding these.I am returning them but a return is just a hassle and I use Amazon to avoid hassles

Pretty lightweight but decent deal for the money. I was glad to have them when turkey day came rolling around. Will not provide you any protection if you eat the last piece of chocolate pudding dessert without giving your pregnant wife a heads up. But I like to live dangerously and that is no fault of the containers.

I use them for salads and such. However, they are pretty flimsy. More like 1-use take-home restaurant containers than something I had hoped to re-use for a while. I will admit that I have not tried other brands of these round ones, only of the square compartmentalized types. But these are quite a bit thinner.

I've had these for a few months now. I use them everyday and haven't had a problem yet. Make sure you don't put the lids on the bottom rack in your washer as the heat might warp them (happened to one of mine but not so badly that it was unusable). They are a little shallow so if you're looking for a deep container this isn't the one for you.

I was a little disappointed with these. I had purchased the smaller ones before and thought three would be as good but they seem to be a little more flimsy.. still good enough and do seem to go through the dishwasher ok.

These are a great size for a lunch salad. I wish they were more durable in the dishwasher. A few of them have gotten warped in the dishwasher which is why I give them 3 stars. One of them has cracked also.
