Samsung Electronics CLT-W406 Waster Toner Bottle

I have a Samsung 480 that uses this cartridge. I hate the printer. If one tank needs replacing, it will not print at all. Color prints are poor quality. Would not recommend the printer. However, if you HAVE this printer, you cannot use it at all once the original is full. This product is easy to replace and puts the printer back in order in seconds. Just be careful disposing of the old one or you will spill old toner on the way to the garbage can.

My printer stopped working at the worst possible time with no warning. The Samsung people were worse than no help at all--ship it to LA to get it repaired was their answer. So I ordered this tank as a last resort before trashing the printer. It arrived when the seller said it would. The printer now works just fine. Like the earlier reviewer said, be sure to have a spare on hand. I just ordered mine. When this printer finally really fails, i will not replace it with Samsung.

Did not realize the printer needed it until it stopped working. Installs easily. If you print a lot keep one on hand.

It worked better than my printer. Unfortunately I just tossed my Samsung C460 printer in the dumpster since it was such a horrible piece of crap. I will never know how good the Toner Waste is but it looked just like the new one that I took out of the printer.

Part of the reason my tech always works is I always use the manufacturer's parts & supplies; they're always top quality and fit perfectly. This waste bottle is no exception - exactly what we needed to keep our W403 running perfectly!

Original Samsung OEM product. Inexpensive, and delivered in 2 days via Amazon Prime. Just what I needed. I even ordered another one as a standby so I don't have to go without my printer for 2 days. Satisfied customer.

This is part of the Samsung printer "gotcha". When the counter says the waste toner bottle is full, all printing stops until replaced. Because it is controlled by a chip, emptying the bottle (which is only partly full) does nothing. You are unable to print until you find and install a new bottle. Nor can you continue to print if the toner chips say the toner is empty. You can't even print B&W if a color toner chip says it's empty.I find the Samsung printer reliable for home printing and generally it causes little problem, but the "consumables" are horrendously expensive.

Works great at an awesome price! Printer gives no warning when toner cartridge needs changing. I too learned were toner goes "to die" and there is a lot of it so handle carefully and don't spill under newspaper or change outside to contain the mess! Buy a spare but KEEP THE OLD ONE and dump, rinse, and let dry so it will be there when the replaced one becomes full with no warning.
