Your DIY tool kit isn't really complete without these
Although these aren't needed nearly as often as regular squeeze-style pliers, when you need 'em, YOU NEED 'EM! And these do the trick. Most of my projects are electronics and small furniture or household repairs and the build quality of these is just fine for that.

Value PricedSnap Ring Plier - not the best, but work
My snap ring pliers had tapered pins that varied in sizes - one was 0.070” to >0.090 and the other was 0.080” to > 0.090” and were mostly round in shape. If you need these for your livelihood, look elsewhere. If you need a cheap pair to get a job done and then they’ll sit for the next decade - these fit the bill. Oh and the package they come in say “Cable Cutter” - I’m not kidding.

It did the job
It did the job. I have my car compressor clutch replaced. However, I really don't understand why I had to pay so much for just a little job. I think that is how "DIY" works. In fact, this one had already the best price I could find. I was happy with it.

Used one time and the tip broke off.

The are fine for removing a snap ring provided it is not too tight or stuck. You can break the tips a full or prolonged grip strength.

I bought these to remove a snap-ring to switch out an axle on a stationary bike - It did the trick!

Doest the job
Found cheapest one here, local hardware stores had it even expensive. Works great. Helped me fix my tower fan's circlip as expected.

It worked fine and good enough for basic tasks.
The circlips on my dryer had very small holes and these did not fit well but I was able to grind it down to make it work. Jobs it done and now I have a snap ring plier for future tasks.
