MOOERMooer EQ Effects Pedal, 2.25 x 4.25 x 1.75 (Funky Monkey)

My son asked for it for Christmas. He opened it early and loves it.

After having the pedal for one day, my first impression is, "Well, I don't hate it!" I gave it 4 stars because the volume drops ever so slightly once the pedal is activated, however, that is a common problem in most chain brand manufactured pedals. The pedal has great tone and is very responsive to pick attack which may encourage you to play more dynamically. The pedal has plenty of "quack," which pleases me greatly. It's certainly better than most auto wah's I've heard but it's no Guyatone Wah Rocker 3. If you don't want to spend the money on a Mad Professor Snow White auto wah this may be a suitable option. The pedal is solid and well built; definitely not cheap. My only complaint about the pedal is that the "Range" and "Q" knobs, position indicator markers, are hard to see because they are solid black and do not have a white line such as the Rate knob does.Like I said, these are my initial impression's; I'll post another review once I've had some time using the pedal.

kind of an auto-wah type of thing... It's fun to play with, takes up a TINY spot on my pedal board and built like a tiny tank. I find myself getting more Mooer pedals these days because of the small form factor, and they sound really good. This one is no exception.

Solid auto wag pedal. Simple to use and has a quality sound to it. I use it sparingly, but it is reliable and capable of giving you that wah sound without taking up a ton of space on your pedal board.

This was a terrific pedal.A lot of funk, in a small package.I have since gone all digital, and sold all of my analog pedals, but if you're looking for an auto-wah, then I would certainly recommend. There is a good demo on youtube of this once, which is why I tried it... and it certainly delivered.It was my first experience with a Chinese made pedal, and it was great. Nice bright LED.

Just an ok pedal. Didn't quite have the sound effect I was looking for. Wound up returning and going with the Q-tron instead. Nothing wrong with the build quality or anything like that. Mooer pedals are pretty solid and I own a few of them.

Bad Q/C : Amazon just throws the box in an envelope to be a pinball in the back of a UPS truck. VERY mild effect, marginal quality, as mentioned infra, very weak sound enhancement, and more of a chorus effect. A wah-wah should be replicated in an auto wah, without having to press on the device physically. Don't let YouTube demos fool you, it is not even as pronounced as it was on the video. Save up for a real effect. Like as never before in my life - you only get what you pay for if you are very damn lucky.

This unit will change the way you play. Pair it with a looper for an ultimate funk jam. This is the easy I look at it. Movie and popcorn 20bucks and 2hours of entertainment. This thing was like 40bucks and the fun never ends.

It hums too much.

Un pedale per me diventato quasi indispensabile. Lo uso per dare più presenza e abbellire il suono nei soli. Ovviamente non sostituisce il wah classico ma sono molto soddisfatto. Lo ricomprerei sicuramente.

Not upto the mark for me. Perhaps an envelope filter would serve a better purpose. The first time I ordered I got serious hum issue. Second time my excitement wore off.Buy a cheap wah pedal instead this one.
