Cosamin DS for Joint Health Comfort & Mobility, 108 Capsules

I have been using this product for years now for osteoarthritis in knees and ankles. It alleviates most of the pain and allows more mobility. I stopped it once to see how it would feel and within 24 hrs I could feel the difference in pain. Highly recommend.

My dog will not eat chewable joint meds in dog-loving flavors, so one capsule of Cosamin DS greased with a little butter each morning to help it go down has done the trick for the past two years. Plus, it's a LOT less expensive than the prescribed meds from the vet. A win-win for our dog and for us.

I can't live without this product. It is great for my joints. I suffer from OA, so anything that makesmy knees feel better is for me. I take three a day and no knee pain.BL

First off I will say that Costco has a better deal. I was skeptical when my physical therapist recommended this. I tried it for two weeks straight as directed everyday, and to my surprise, it did give me relief. I took it until the bottle was gone. Once it was gone I’d try to stop to see if my back would hurt, and it did. I’m thinking this will be a “maintenance “ drug. I do believe it gets me through at least 8-10 hour days. I’m doing a lot of physical activity, so maybe longer for those who don’t do as much physical stuff.

I had hip replacement surgery in June 2014. I was supposed to have both replaced at the same time. I lost a lot of blood so they did not do both. I had bad arthritis but the they of course replaced the one that was much worse. I was told I could return in 6 weeks to have the other one done. However, after the surgery I began taking Cosamin DS and low and behold, I am pain free. I initially took the maximum dose (3 tablets a day) for about 6 weeks. I now take 1 a day as maintenance. I could not be happier. I don't know if this will last forever but for now I have no plans to have a second surgery.

I have used this product for knee OA issues. I just had knee replacement surgery and have begun using this with Dr authorization and it has actually, helped reduce pain and stiffness. It is an excellent price and product and I highly recommend.

This works great, but you may find that you can taper off on the amount you take after you have been taking it for a while, otherwise it seems like a waste. I am down to two caps a day now and as long as I keep taking it, the improvements vs before I was taking it are definitely noticeable. If you have sensitivity to shellfish, an iodine allergy, etc then this is a product I would recommend for you, since it either does not contain whatever chemical that I am sensitive to. I find that all of my joint pain is gone, and my mobility is way way better.

I have been dealing with neck pain for years on almost a daily basis. I don't know what is causing the pain but figured it couldn't hurt to try a joint supplement. This has absolutely changed my life! I pretty much never have neck pain now. The only time in the last month that I had pain was when I tried to decrease to 2 capsules a day instead of 3. It is really wonderful to be pain free!
