I am overall happy with this purchase. I am a bit disappointed that it is not as sheer as I expected from the listing. I wanted to obstruct view while keeping a lot of sunlight. This film definitely obstructs view. It is good quality and pretty to look at. It does not allow as much sun as I wanted.I had a bit of trouble hanging BUT that was because the window I was applying it to was in an awkward place and not easily reached. Directions are easy. Wash the window, spray water and hang. I was skeptical at first but it hung and stayed up just fine. I did get air bubbles, they were easily removed using a hand towel. The only confusing part was which side to apply to the window. The directions didn't say so I assumed and went with the side I was removing the transparent film from (the smooth side). A more experienced person may know this already however this was my first time using this type of product. Overall I think it took about 15-20 mins to measure and apply to a double hung window.
