Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was easy to install, very nice warm light. We used it as an ambiance night light on a boat in our bathroom. I love it so much, that I am getting one more for the bar area. Sensor works everytime we open the bathroom door. Magnetic adhesive included in the kit wich makes changing varieties very easy.I also live clear cord, it was easy to hide as it's blending in with the fiberglass. This maybe the most exciting amazon purchase of the year!lol

Nothing to it to "install". It's just peel and stick and then put in batteries and you're off to the races. Things to note: a) the lights are bright enough for a small space, but not very bright. And 2) the adhesive isn't very strong so it definitely won't ruin surfaces, and could be repositioned if necessary. The LED strip can be cut to length. I assumed this, but just to clarify. All in all, a great low-cost solution for a motion sensor light for safes.

I used this light in my closet. The LED strip was very sticky and easily applied to the walls. It’s not as bright as I hoped it would be but it’s much better than nothing. It was easy to cut the strip to size. Very easy installation.Unlike my previous LED light strip, the motion detection range is good enough that it triggers when I open my closet. I no longer have to wave my hand at it.The one thing I don’t understand is the magnetic stickers it came with. If you’re supposed to be able to take the battery compartment on and off, why is it hardwired to the strip? It makes it impossible to remove in this configuration.

Seems to stick well to metal painted surfaces and motion detection works. Light is very dim though. Anything other than accent lighting for looks is useless.

This is a helpful addition to closets. I open the closet door and suddenly have light. It’s nice that it takes AA batteries because I always. Have those around. It was easy to set up, all adhesive, including the battery/motion sensor unit. I’m putting this in all of my unlit closets. You can set the timeout function to 20 or 60 seconds. I find 20 is enough for closet use. The length is enough to provide low light to the closet. The price is reasonable. It’s much more economical than the alternative of having an electrician install lighting.

This set hardly works at all. Because it worked intermittently the first month, I thought it would be dependable given a bit of time. However, it only became worse. The first string we bought, in December, has been very nice and that’s why we bought the second string. I am very disappointed that due to the structure of your policy I cannot return the defective string and exchange it for a replacement string.. But now I’d feel hesitant about the chance I would be taking. Ah, well.
