Pretty size to make it portable and functional

Great product, but Amazon packaging is insufficient. Ruler arrived in pieces. Amazon did replace it, however better packaging would make customers happier.

This ruler slips much less than traditional rulers which makes cutting strips much easier. A great size, if you fold the fabric you easily get a 2.5" strip WOF. Fits in my "to go" sewing box. Numbers are easy to read, down to 1/8". Some slight discrepancies noted between the ruler and my Olfa mat (haven't done the work to figure out which is the more accurate but I pick one or the other and stick with that). Omnigrip has become my go to set of rulers for most jobs. When total accuracy is needed I use my Olfa frosted rulers which have the thinnest marked lines I've found.

Great for my quilting

Easy to see and use. Great 2.5 width for jelly rolls and strip piecing. UPDATE: After using this ruler for a week, I still love it. BUT, the yellow (kinda see-through) strips on the edge of the ruler are hard to see through, and I have been cutting about an 1/8" too short. Would be a better ruler without these distracting yellow strips on the side.They are more opaque than see through. Kind of frustrating. The yellow blurs the see through aspect of this ruler.

The first ruler was received fully packaged but broken. It was shipped sealed in cellophane and well boxed, no broken pieces of plastic were in the cellophane. So, the ruler had to have been shipped broken, and not damaged during shipment. HOWEVER, Amazon has outstanding Return/Replacement Policy when an item is damaged. The ruler was immediately reordered by Amazon without charge and received 2 days later in excellent condition, without requiring the return of the broken ruler. Due to Amazon's outstanding return/replacement policy we will continue to do a lot of business with Amazon, exclusively using Prime. We have never been disappointed. Since 2010, we have significantly increased our Amazon Prime business. We use Prime 99.99999 % of the time. Rarely use Venders due to concerns and reviews regarding customer service. Amazon Prime, No hassle, No stress, Problem Solved. They usually have unbeatable prices with quick shipping, and great customer service. The ruler is an excellent product for sewing and quilting, easy to read and use without taking out a larger ruler or yardstick. Would not hesitate to recommend this product.
