Sauder Peppercorn Linen Tower, Cinnamon Cherry finish

I purchased this as non traditional storage for my bedroom. it matches the espresso bookcases in my room as well as the tea/bar cart I use as a type of portable night stand. the color of the storage tower is listed as cinnamon cherry, however, it is an exact match with the espresso stain on both items. for anyone wondering, the x shaped storage area is removable. I didn't want to use the x, so I didn't assemble it. leaving it off did not in anyway compromise either functionality or structure. it looks amazing, too. the marble look shelf is so beautiful and slick even close up it looks like real granite/marble/stone. It was a bit annoying to assemble. there are two trim pieces which are listed as later steps, that clearly should be at least loosely fastened before starting to build the larger sections. other than that, I am thrilled with this purchase. it would work well in any room of the house, not just bathroom or bedroom. I would buy it again, 100%.

I’m very happy with this purchase. We just redid our very small full bathroom and the objective in that remodel was to take full advantage of the little space that’s in there and maximize storage. Along with a new vanity we wanted a separate cabinet to store toilet paper, my hair dryer/straightener, makeup, etc. This product has been really clutch! It’s very narrow but holds a surprising amount. It’s sturdier than I expected considering it’s made out of your standard particle board. I opted to not install the X shaped towel holder on the top and just use the regular horizontal shelves and it looks quite nice, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from recent visitors. Despite some of the other reviews, none of the pieces in my box were damaged or scratched, and no pieces were missing or anything like that. I am 6 months pregnant and was able to assemble this 60% on my own, I just needed my husband to assist in lifting a few times and he helped screw the cabinet door hinges in, as those screws need some real elbow grease to go in. Not unhappy about that though, I’d rather the door really be attached well, as opposed to falling off if you open it too many times, you know? Overall I am very happy I bought this!

I absolutely love this piece! I wanted something for the laundry room to put soap and dryer sheets on. As I'm only using it for small items, it's honestly perfect, however if I were to use it for actual towels or linens I don't think I would've been as happy regarding the size. I read about probably 50 different linen towers looking similar to this one and this one had the best reviews for the price point so I took a shot. The product came on time and was wrapped very well for shipping! I was so excited to put it together when I got it back to the house, I immediately opened it to discover that one of the pieces was broken. I was so upset that I quickly pulled out all the other pieces and did a close inspection. After I found nothing else was broken and figured out that the broken piece was the shelf that goes inside the cabinet, I decided to go ahead and put it together instead of returning/exchanging it. As much as I would have LOVED to have it arrive in perfect condition, things happen. So just a forewarning, be prepared to have a broken piece or have to return/exchange it. Other than that I love this item. It's WONDERFUL.

This looks great just outside our master bathroom in our bedroom. There is not enough room in the bathroom itself for towel storage so this is a great alternative. You can opt to leave out the crisscross "X" which is pictured with rolled up towels on it. I chose to take that out which leaves more standard shelf space to place towels on. We have at least 8 towels stacked on it and I put a few handtowels on the top smaller shelf. The underneath storage it great with the door also because I can put extra toilet paper rolls and random bathroom stuff under there out of sight. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because it was a little scratched up and the screw/nail covers don't want to go on so the finishing touches aren't quite right. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I notice the scratches and the exposed screws and such. The faux marble top is very nice though and the cabinet door works nicely and the height is great for our bedroom. I appreciate that it is just wide enough to put the towels neatly folded on but not so wide that it takes up a lot of wall space in our bedroom.

Looks really cute in my spare bedroom. I keep coffee and liquor supplies in and on it. I decided to remove the X since it did not allow full use of storage for my needs. The X would look really nice with towel rolls in it. Shelves are then moveable. I love the base for hiding my liquor and wine bottles. Coffee and tea cups along with water bottles in shades of blue and green make the top look like decoration not storage. So glad I finished building it because it was a day long trial. I have built 6 or 7 items over the last 10 years so I am not a novice.

Loved the color and assembly however I wish it was a lil taller and either wider or deeper not enough storage for what I wanted it for. I read other reviews about it being cheap and the door is crooked well it's not real wood its pressed wood and for the price we should already know that and my door was off to but I had put on a side piece wrong once corrected it was perfect but its plenty sturdy and heavy. I guess when buying things online u take that chance of it being good or bad that's why amazon has the best return policy so no worries with me.
