I'm a former EMT, wife of a LEO, a mother of 4, and Director of HR. I mention this because first aid and safety is a second nature, daily component of every aspect of my life, every day. I had been doing a poor job piecing together a medical bag of my own; it's a lot to stay on top of. Situations change, resources get used, you forget to replenish your stock, medication expires, you really don't ever think of something you REALLY need, until you don't have it.THIS KIT HAS IT ALL. I have this bag with me AT ALL TIMES. As a former EMT, I'm still in the habit of stopping if I see a car accident, or someone is in distress at the store (if first responders are not already on scene). The very first week I owned this, a coach took a line drive to the face at the baseball field, and I was right there, readily available, gloved up, cleaned the wound, minimized the bleed, applied ointment and butterfly bandages, cracked open that ice pack, and gave him some Tylenol (from my purse) for the headache he was bound to end up with. After the game, he went to Urgent Care to get checked out... they said if it hadn't been immediately treating and bandaged, he would have required stitches. This kit very literally saved this guy from needles in his face.The ONLY things I've added to it, is Benadryl, and that's because I'M super allergic to bee stings, and my pen light for checking pupils. The whistle and compass, some may think are silly, but any Boy Scout knows that you WILL need this while camping at some point (if not for your own direction, but to track incoming storm clouds). I highly recommended leaving this kit intact and not taking out the things you think you won't use... you WILL use everything in here.Alex, the co-found of Protect Life, had reached out to me via email, and included a colorful, simple, first aid primary care e-guide. I have this printed out at home, for my kids reference in the event I'm not home, and with our safety training information at work.Seriously superb job putting this together! I can't say enough good things about it. It's everything you need, and in my opinion, worth much more than the price. Don't forget to restock as you use supplies! I would buy this again, and will if the need arises. The only thing that detracts from this getting five stars is: The seller has bugged me for a review three times, and the product comes with a coupon for a free emergency hammer (looks like it could break a car window) if a "survey is taken". It's been almost two months since I took it, and I am still waiting for that item. But I would still recommend this kit. What I have received are some emails asking whether I received the promised hammer, and explaining that sometimes things get lost in shipping....hmmmm. Sellers who explain they things they send you get lost in shipping make me nervous. (I received the hammer on 2020-01-08, and it's a cheap, mostly plastic thing, about 5.25 inches long)- BUT it is great for our car, and will almost certainly break car window glass (not the windshield of course). The First Aid kit, though has more than enough to recommend it without this survey and "gift". But we're glad to have this hammer and hope we never have to use it.Glad we got this, but wish we'd done it sooner. It contains a pretty good loud whistle and a decent-sized basic compass. It has a small emergency blanket. We'd bought those items separately, and paid too much. (But it's good to have too many emergency blankets.) This also has the expected gauze pads, lots of cotton swabs (counting toward the 200 items, no doubt). It has a decent pair of scissors. It's physically a bit larger than I anticipated, but that is a plus.Thinking of buying another as a gift.

Hands down the best first aid kit i have seen. We often buy first aid kids for our vehicles and specifically for camping. We were needing a new one for camping and this one is perfect. I love the additional small kit, also fully stocked. I really like that it came with a glow sticks and a compass. These items will be very useful to ya while out in the woods. The bag itself is very sturdy and nice material. Items are nicely packed and sorted making things very easy to find. Fantastic kit, better than any other!

I bought this first aid kit for the boys cross country team for when they run races out of town. They asked parents to supply the kits and although we’ve only had to use band-aids up to this point, we are very happy with this particular kit. It comes with all the necessities. The coaches have all become familiar with what’s inside and they love the case and how easy it is to throw in their gear on the bus and go! Glad that I could get on heat and grab this kit! We have many of these kits ourselves and they are our go to for hunting, camping, hiking, sports, etc...
