Great fashion design.
I spotted this and bought it for my 7 year old granddaughter for christmas.She loves making clothes for her dolls. She uses anything she can find, especially old socks.She was very pleased with the set, and she has a great eye for detail.A great idea for any budding fashion designer.I would highly recommend.

Bought as a gift for my 10 year old grand daughter who loves all things sparkly and crafty. She has spent lots of time designing dresses for her Barbies. Successful present.

Disappointing as age range misleading due to complexity
I bought this item for my 6 year old granddaughter who loves designing clothes. I was concerned that the age range said 3+ and she may have found it too babyish. Not the case. It was inappropriate for even a 6 year old. The items are generally of good quality but the scissors do not cut easily and there is no template to use as a pattern. The instructions are 6 pictures on the back of the box and they do not help at all. No 3 to 6 year old could read them. How does a young child measure the material to make a pattern without a lot of help from an adult who knows quite a lot about dressmaking ?- I don't! Items have to be clamped and held with dressmaking pins and then stitched .The sewing needed is very intricate for a young child.e.g the little sequins smaller than a button. (4mm diameter approx) Once used the material is gone never to be used again. For a young child this is a disaster!There is no indication of the size of doll the shoes will fit. My granddaughter has many dolls - all Disney princesses of various sizes and they fit none of them!!! .Overall I am extremely disappointed. If she waits 3 to 4 years it may be of use - if it is not lost by then!!!

After seeing the description and paying that price. The product I received was disappointing, I received it few weeks ago. Went to wrap it up today and saw what I actually brought. Definitely feel ripped off.
