Universal thread protection for 1/2 x 28 threaded muzzles. If you're not too picky this one does the job just fine.

Perfect fit on my AR

I bought a direct thread suppressor for my .22LR rifles, and since the M&P 15-22 has a standard birdcage flash hider from the factory rather than just bare threads, I needed a thread protector for when the suppressor wasn't installed. These were cost effective and are the correct thread pitch for the .22LR and .223 rifles threaded in 1/2x28. Gets the job done and keeps the threads from getting damaged in transport or when the suppressor isn't on the gun.

These thread protectors appear to be of good quality. Knurling is precise and threads are cut well. Went right on to my FN509 Tactical barrel. They are a bit larger in diameter than the OEM thread protrctor but at 1/2 the price for 2 of them...I'll take it.

I love these for their perfect side, great knurling for a good grip while loosening and tightening, the threads are cut to perfection no slop/wiggle whatsoever. Definitely a must have to protect those essential threads when not utilizing or special noise suppressant cans.. Thank you for supporting America and it's Armed Forces!!
