The media could not be loaded. As soon as you put it on the base it starts to charge. You have to remember when you are ready for it to heat up to press the power button! That took a minute for me to get used to. The only drawback and I really do mean the only one, I would love for it to have a longer USB cord. But that's all right. I'm sure it would work with any c type cord and I've got plenty around here. I just wanted to use what it came with and write the review. All in all it is fabulous so far. I don't know how long it would stay warm without putting it back on the base but the paperwork says 20 minutes or more. That's impressive! I'm a professional crafter and this is lightweight and very easy to use and once you get used to how much glue to push out, you're not going to be dripping all over the place with the gun just sitting there like some units. You can press out a small line or a big bead. It stays really warm and there's a protective collar near the tip for less burns. The sticks are easy to load but tight. Sometimes if the sticks are too loose then they don't feed right or glue comes out the back. I haven't noticed any issues so far and I've used it three times. I'm looking forward to pushing its limits. If it really stays warm for 20 minutes, I can walk outside with it. Another cordless gun that I had, I had to literally take the plug out of the handle and it was only as warm as far as I could walk. It did not have an onboard rechargeable battery that kept the unit warm. All that one did was let me walk away from the outlet which I would have gotten the same results if I would have just jerked the cord out of the wall and took it with me. LOL this one is truly cordless meaning that it is going to stay warm in your hand until the battery inside dies. For the price, it's amazing. It takes mini sticks. I've never really used the huge glue sticks but there's probably some commercial grade comparable item that melts the large ones. This is perfect for the home professional Crafter!! Enjoy

I was so happy to see a cordless USB charging glue gun that I bought it right away! I used it as soon as I had charged it. Works very well. Easy to use on projects because you're not fighting a cord. Three lights on top let you know when the charge is going low and when it is fully charged. The base could have been a little more sturdy. It does fall over due to weight. The glue is clear, no yellowing. It is ergonomic and fits in the hand easily.

Its perfect for people with arthritic hands. It is so easy to use and doesn't have resistance like some of the other glue gun triggers. The glue comes out nice in a steady stream but not gushing out like some others do. It heats up fast and its good off the base for a good while. The base is sturdy and worked great holding as I would glue and sit down the get the next thing ready and glue over and over pretty fast without tipping over. I am so impressed. It does dribble the glue out the tip if you leave it sitting to long while its on. But Ive not found one yet that doesn't so I am not bothered. You wont be disappointed in this especially for the money. I looked at expensive glue guns at one of the home improvement stores but couldn't operate it the trigger was so stiff. This is so much better and soooo much cheaper. I give it 10 stars, I will buy again.

I’ve used the GoGonova Cordless Hot Glue Gun for a few small DIY and craft projects, and overall it’s just okay not amazing, but not terrible either.On the plus side, it heats up quickly (around 15 seconds as advertised), and I love the cordless convenience. The built-in 2Ah battery holds a decent charge and easily gets me through light use. The USB-C charging is a nice modern touch, and it comes with plenty of glue sticks to get started.That said, there are a few things that hold it back. First, while it heats up fast, the glue output can be inconsistent, and you sometimes have to wait between uses if you're working on a larger project. It’s definitely better suited for light crafting, not heavy-duty bonding.The auto shut-off feature is a nice safety addition, but it can be annoying if you're pausing mid-project, since it powers down pretty quickly. Also, the gun itself feels a bit plasticky and lightweight, which doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in terms of durability.If you’re doing small crafts or occasional fixes, it’s a convenient tool to have around. Just don’t expect industrial-level performance. For the price, it’s a fair deal as long as your expectations are realistic.

What a great little gun! The color is just perfect for me since I love pink and black! Works well right out of the box. The charge stays for a great amount of time! The value of this one is right on! And it came with 25 glue sticks as well!! Perfect size for my hand and so happy it’s cordless!!

Dont let the reviews fool you like it did to me :(PROS: love how its cordless and gives a thin line of glue. Shutoff time after 5 mins without being active is okay when i forget to turn it off. Heats up quick. Lightweight.CONS: it takes forever to charge and mine didnt even hold charge on the second time. Only used it for a week. LEAKS while its on. It takes almost 2 mini glue sticks at a time. Sometimes you have to pop out a blob of glue to make it work good. Doesnt have anything to make it stand unless its the charging base and even then whenever you pick it up you have to make sure the base actually gets removed or it will fall which is a hassle to do.I had hoped this would last me longer as i make eternal flowers with it and would love to take it on the go. Unfortunately im going to be stuck next to an outlet again.

Bought for classroom use. Not a crafter, so it doesn’t get regular/heavy use. So far, it has worked great for hanging laminated posters on (cinder block) walls and occasional fixing of things. Heats up reasonably fast. I am happy with purchase!

This heats up quickly and works great. It does leak when you put in a new stick, so make sure you have something under it while it's sitting.
