Get Tessel and start your "Connected Device" project using JavaScript
Tessel rocks! This isn't a Rasberry Pi or an Arduino, it's a microprocessor controller that uses JavaScript. JavaScript is the language of the web and it's everywhere. The ecosystem for this board in not mature yet but, it will grow quickly. Now I could run the Rasberry PI with a Linux distro that allowed me to install Node (Server side JavaScript) but it wasn't easy to use the external ports.I'm just getting started with this device and I see a bright future for it along with some competition from other manufacturers.
