Excellent! Just what I needed to get my site up
Excellent book for quickly getting up to speed in Adobe Muse. The lessons are arranged in the optimal order for building a website. I had never used Adobe Muse before, but I was able to complete each lesson and then immediately apply what I learned in the website I needed to build, completing my own responsive website’s first draft in less than two weeks. The exercises are clear and fully illustrated. Screenshots with red rectangles and arrows identify what the text refers to. The author notes whenever an illustration might differ from a reader’s screen (if, for instance, the reader’s window is sized too small to show all tools). Best practices are explained throughout. Numerous tips and notes abound.PROSVery clear instructions. Excellent discussion of responsive sites, graphics, colors. Many time-saving tips. Work-arounds for bugs “as of the writing of this book.” Advice on publishing the site and workarounds for possible problems. Many downloadable PDFs with additional tips.Free downloadable files for working through the lessons. Files allowing you to start with any chapter if you don’t want to start in chapter 1. Free access to a web version of the book that is updated to match application updates.CONSMost lessons take longer than the stated time estimates. No discussion in chapter 2 on how to choose minimum and maximum width/height.Lessons 9 & 10 on widgets required slightly different steps.KINDLE FOR PC PROSIf you have two screens, having the book on the smaller screen and Muse on the larger is ideal.Links to demonstration videos. Links to book sections.KINDLE FOR PC CONSIcons representing tools are too small to see in Kindle for PC even when using a large font size. This problem is alleviated by screenshots of the tool outlined in red that always follow.Kindle for PC highlighting didn’t work most of the time. The lesson steps are often broken by a page break, requiring moving ahead and back. Clicking the Previous Page link moves back several pages.

Great resource for learning Muse
This is the best Classroom in a Book experience I've had: well-written, clear and concise. A great way to get started with Muse.

I was happy to get the book for my Graphic Design
I ordered Adobe Muse CC Classroom in a Book (2nd Edition) the day after Christmas 2017. It arrived on January 12, 2018. It arrived four days after the fist estimated delivery date which was January 8th, 2018. I was happy to get the book for my Graphic Design: Web Design Class for the spring semester. at my school.

... have a lot more to learn but this was easy to follow and gave me a great working knowledge ...
I'm sure I have a lot more to learn but this was easy to follow and gave me a great working knowledge of Muse. I especially like the computer version you can use once registered. They have videos already set up for almost every lesson in the book. Watch the video and do the steps. The computer version is up to date with Muse making the book current.

Helpful information for Muse website Designers
Easy to read and understand. I appreciate how well a knowledge of InDesign helped me create Muse websites.

Easy to follow lessons
Too many tutorial books go off track, the book and the actual software diverge leaving you to retrace your steps, then wade through errata only to discover the book is outdated or just plain wrong. I had no problem following this book from start to finish.

... the Adobe classroom in a book books have been pretty bad or lame or hard to follow
Some of the Adobe classroom in a book books have been pretty bad or lame or hard to follow, but so far this author has done an incredibly great job writing this book. I am learning a lot.

Good for the beginner and intermediate Muse users
A good training guide, but be sure to use Peachtree's Web-based, supplemental material to really get your money's worth.

Very basic
Easy to follow, however a bit basic if you are already accustomed to Adobe Software.

Book looks like an illegal reprint
The good news: delivery worked like a clockwork, the book arrived within three days one day prior to the scheduled delivery day, even though it had been sent from India. Not bad.Big HOWEVER: the book itself looks like an illegal reprint. Contrary to the pages shown on the Amazon product page, all illustrations in the book are in black/white and in extremely poor quality. The resolution is very low, especally small items are hard or impossible to see/read within the images/screen shots. For a book that is supposed to promote/support a high quality software solution for a graphical approach to web site production that seems way off course. The text seems ok, but so far I have spent more time looking for a better book than actually working with it. I am pretty sure this is not what either ADOBE nor PEARSON had in mind when they wanted people to work with their products.
