Works great when you can have clear access for cutting. We had to make 3 cuts on my RV plumbing pipes when changing out sink.First cut was in a very awkward position under the counter, yet reaching thru the sink hole. That one took quite awhile because it was hard to get any pressure on it. But once it was cut, we were amazed and how clean it was.2nd cut was after P trap was removed so easy access to the pipe. That one was amazing how fast it cut, and again perfect clean cut, straight etc.3rd cut we tried using it but the blade would not reach the pipe needed. So we had to use a hack saw instead. Took way more effort. Was messy, rugged cut, and worst of all, not a straight even cut either.So that 3rd cut really showed how great the tool was because the difference between cut 1 and 2 vs 3rd one was night and day.

This thing is just awesome. Can cut 2" schedule 40 with a few turns leaving a perfect end.

Very sensitive blade they broke at the second week

Especially in tight places where a hack or other saw may not work. Get it on the pipe twist it a couple of times and the cut is made. Nice and easy. Every plumber should have one.

Awesome tool

This cutter can handle a variety of plastic and thin PVC pipe sizes. I have one of those ratchetting lever cutters, but they are not as accurate or clean of cuts. I'm not a plumber, I'm a handyman who does some minor sink drain repair. This cutter is a much nicer way to trim off excess length than using a hack saw or other cutting device.
