If you like ease of use, less time wasted, efficiency and effectiveness then this is the product for you. I have been cutting my hair for years now and gotten use to the steps needed to pull off a successful fade. Usually the haircut is a huge process and require a lot of time and patience when using my Wahl Cordless Senior clipper with the guide set. Most times I'll wait 3-2 weeks to cut my hair due to the lengthy process.Since I have started to use this fade guide I enjoy cutting my hair now. Its less time consuming having to do touch ups and fixes. Now, I cut my hair every week to look crispy and fresh since the process is now effortless with minimal brain power and calculations needed. Its even great for fading sideburns too.This is a great product and is worth every penny. I can even see this in barber shops as it can help speed up productivity (time is money). I admit that this product work as advised. Tested other products without success. The 1st time I used and fallowing the instructions it was a 8 of 10 not bad for a diy fade and keep some money on your pocket! The guards dont fit perfect in my wahl cliper but it is not a big deal. You need to fallow the instructionsbbefore use the guards! If you want to have a decent fade go and buy the Fade Guides as they paid by themself in the first use BUT... if you plan to go to a special event or date visit the barber for a pro look.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Don't know why these clipper guards so lowly rated. They are pretty darn good...ordered them not expecting much but they have been a pleasant surprise...been cutting my own hair for about 15 hrs and could never get the blending of my fade right...always took too long with mixed results...these guards have been a big help in not only getting a consist blend on my fade but also cuts down on the time it takes to give myself a quality cut....I'm very pleased with my purchase...

Poor quality, they say it will fit wahl branded products but theywon't fit properly and the machine will start to make weird noises.

I don't think these guards fail to live up to any promise in the listing, but they did not perform as I would have liked.I am a complete novice attempting to cut my own hair and these guards were only a little help. They did not fit snugly onto my Wahl elite clippers, so they rattled, they flexed, and made a lot of noise. The graduation from a 0 or .5 guard to a 1 guard is not hard to achieve on one's own using a more traditional method. And most people's hair doesn't grow horizontally on the side of their head. A 1 guard to 3 guard graduation would be more useful for using horizontally for me.Now these guards did help my achieve a uniform fade height around about 2/3rds of my head but didn't help on the very back.I will continue to use these guards but wish they fit my needs a little better for the cost.

I have bought this product three times. The first one I got was too big for my wall, clipper and kept falling off. I returned that one. Then I happened to across this product again and in the notes it had said that it was improved fit so I ordered it again and yet again it was too big for the clipper and kept falling off. I sent a message to the seller and he responded by telling me he was going to send one straight from where these are made which was somewhere in Europe. It took a while, but I finally got the third pair and they fit OK.It still does not cut a perfect fade, but in my opinion, it lays down a good foundation to then come in with the lower guards to clean it up.I’m giving it a two because I want to buy a new pair because I noticed that it advertised it as an upgraded design with a picture of an upgraded design. It looks like the standard wall attachments. It just arrived in the mail and I was excited to open it to see whether these may finally just cut the fade without me having to use other guards to clean up and low and behold, I did not receive the new design. I received the same design that they’ve been selling for five years. Don’t know what it is about this company that just can’t seem to get it right

I was skeptical at first since I had bad experience with other brands but these guards are best!Follow the instructions on this page or tik tok and takes some time to master the 45 angle. For first timers start with the clipper on the full open for the bald line. I look forward to saving on time and money and I will be saving hundreds of dollars fading my own hair. Take your time and be patient. I know I will only get faster and better with time. A must buy and a must have for any home kit .
