GUESS Women's Orana Combat Boot

I love everything about them. The color, the style, the fit. I wear them with so many different things. They make me feel giddy and stylish.

Bought these boots in January of 2022. Loved them so much, I ordered another pair in a different color the next month. Now, more than 3 years later, I've decided ro retire the first pair I bought because it has some wear on the inside (I wore these constantly btw). I just decided to look at the details of this purchase because I was curious how long I've had them for and I was shocked lol. Then, an even better surprise!!! The same pair I just let go is on sale for $40. Never purchased something so fast! Truly one of the most comfortable and durable boots I've ever owned.

These boots are beautiful! I usually wear a size 8.5, and I ordered a size 9 because I have to wear high arch insoles. They were way too small for me, that I don't think even a size 10.5 would work with my insoles. They're thick, and somewhat stiff, but would probably be o.k when broken in. I'm sad I have to return them, but with my foot problems, I just can't have them.

These are cute and made well. They run beer narrow. I did go a full size up

This was bought a long time ago and I kept forgetting to write a review... But don't buy these boots. One of the small issues was the ankle part was wayyyy too tight, like obviously made for people with pretty skinny ankles. My ankles aren't even big and it was a hard fit. That wasn't the main issue though, the biggest issue was the sole. I thought since guess is supposed to be a pretty high quality brand, that these would last awhile... But I'd say about a month in of having them, I noticed water seeping through into the bottom of the shoe and soaking my socks. Gross. I looked at the sole and noticed that they were ALREADY cracked??? And it's not like I was doing anything crazy. I literally just wore them to school. I was very disappointed and these are a waste of money. Below i have pictures of both shoes which both have a similar crack. With the crack, walking would cause water to seep in if u walked into a puddle because the crack would open up when ur heel lifted.

I thought buying a well-known designer made boot would last me much longer than previous combat boots that were super cheap, with no high expectations....But, GUESS what? Afte 3 months I noticed the sole coming away from the boot on the right side of the left boot....I was like ugh, no biggie - I can glue if need be. Then, it began happening to the other boot. So, clearly it's the glue that is no good...but THEN I couldn't figure out why my feet were hurting so much.Granted, I walk a lot - walk my 1 year 4 month old Dobie-mix in these...to the park, on the trail by the river...so, they got worked -but not more than other very cheap combat boots I have beaten up over the years, but those even last me at LEAST a year.So, typically my boots have mud and debris on the bottom from park outings with doggo and such - so I have never really thought to inspect the soles.....as these were only a few months old!!!BOTH boots have cracked completely across the bottom of the sole - from side to side. Which explains why my feet were hurting so much. I haven't even worn them in a month because of this. I meant to make a review sooner, but I have been really busy with work, puppy, and commissioned portrait artwork....It would be nice to get a replacement, but why if they may end up the same way?? Would be great to have a refund so that I can get some boots that will last me longer than 3 months!DO NOT EXPECT LONGEVITY WITH THESE! Clearly these are only to be worn to look stylish - not to actually LIVE & walk on sidewalks all the time....will NOT be buying any Guess shoes again....
