A Lifesaver for Quick Fixes!
I recently used Rescue Tape by Bond It to fix a leak in a well pipe, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance! The tape is super easy to apply—just stretch and wrap it around the affected area, and it bonds tightly to create a durable, waterproof seal. The instructions were clear, and the tape worked exactly as advertised, holding up even under pressure. After applying the tape, the leak was sealed instantly, and it’s been holding up perfectly ever since. It’s a great solution for emergency repairs when you need a quick fix without the hassle of professional tools or services. It also works on various surfaces, which is a nice bonus for future repairs around the house. The quality of the tape is outstanding, and it really does create a strong bond. I’m confident this will last for a long time. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable and easy-to-use emergency fix!Pros:• Easy to apply• Strong, waterproof seal• Works on various surfaces• Great for emergency fixes• Durable and reliableCons:• None so far!

A temporary fix, great find!
I decided to give this a try after seeing the reviews. I have a leak in my kitchen sink on two PVC pipes. My landlord is very slow to fix things, so this was my temporary solution. (I don't want to move because my rent is exceptional and the neighborhood is great) I tried this on one side and used the whole roll to be absolutely certain that it would stay in place. Like other reviews mentioned, it is difficult for the tape to stick to anything but itself. I found that when I started wrapping the tape, I needed to hold one spot in place and then stretch the tape as far as I could and then start wrapping it around itself. Once I had the first wrap done, it was very easy for me to start building the other layers of tape around it. I ordered another roll for the other side of my sink and it has seemed to be holding up pretty well on each side. They have both been wrapped with tape for around 2 weeks. I noticed a tiny bit of leaking the first two-three days after wrapping, but now I see no leaks at all. I think over time, the tape fuses to itself more. I had to keep buckets under my sink for a long time and now I don't have to worry about them anymore.I understand that this is a temporary fix, but this was much easier (for the moment) than hassling my landlord or trying to replace the sink myself (which I really don't want to spend the money on). My advice to others would be to take your time while wrapping the tape around whatever you need to. If you have a bigger project, I would suggest buying two rolls at a time to be safe. It's quite easy to run out of one roll if you're not paying close enough attention like I did.I am satisfied with my purchase and it has provided me peace of mind with leaky sink pipes.

Oops! I have previously ordered and was so impressed
some time ago I ordered rescue tape and was so impressed, that I gave it to a needy friend. It has taken some time to replace it, but I knew what I wanted. I must have been so excited to replace it that I miss ordered. I need the clear. As a 71 year young female, I am still "fixing". I crawled under a younger friends jeep to fix a hole in her muffler and it worked beautifully until she could fix it. I will be glad when I can get the "clear" version and continue on my "fixing" routine, to help .... seems that every person I know needs a little, or a lot of help. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!CindiNow, how do I send this back for credit?Nov 14,2024 Yes,i need help, i have been wanting/trying to return as i need the see through one, not black. I realize it is my mistake BUT how about a replacement. I also know the date to help me had passed, but, I have been asking for help since I tube this, come on!

still works even with a sloppy wrap
The instructions say to stretch the tape, but what they don't say is that the tape itself is attached to a plastic strip. When you unroll it you'll see a thin plastic strip backing the silicone. You must peel this silicone layer off the plastic backing, then stretch it and keep it stretched while you wrap up your leak.I had a shower head that started leaking near the inlet pipe and it was so bad the leak was spraying on the ceiling. I don't know if the inlet pipe threads got damaged or what because I've replaced the plumbers tape several times and tried not over tightening but it still sprayed. This stuff had it sealed almost instantly and although it still drips, I don't have to worry about spraying the ceiling anymore. If I take the shower head off and redo the tape i'm betting it would seal up completely but reducing it to a drip, a slow drip at that, is perfectly fine.

This really works!
It really works! I needed to seal a wire connection that stays under water. It's been in the water for about 8 months now and it is completely water tight. Great product that actually works.
