I bought these initially to use as defensive tools. I lived in a rural area where there was an occasional dog who would menace me. I found I really enjoyed walking with them once I got the rhythm down and they did work well to keep that mean dog at bay (I also carry pepper spray now too). They also help me keep better posture while walking.

I tested 3 models and these are the best. Easy to adjust. We’ll balanced. Nicely fitting glove. Vibrations are just right. I highly recommend them.

Great product and service. The handles are a little uncomfortable. Poles feel strong and stable. The height adjustment is helpful. The groovy colour is cool.

Extremely pleased with my Nordic walking poles, they are pretty and seem very durable. Cannot wait to get started.

Every time I’ve had a QR code I wasn’t required to pack the item. So I had to return home and find the original box which luckily we hadn’t trashed to repack and returnNow YES, the long written instructions with the QR code did say pack it, but that’s the first time I have encountered this particular process.My point? They are very easy to adjust but to heavy.

The poles are lightweight and easy on the hands. They are stable when properly locked. This was the most important feature to me. I tested the stablilty by trying to force them to collapse with my body weight. They did not collapse.Also, the store carries spare tips.

Good value for the price. I like the gloves and the lock system on the poles. The carrying bag is a great bonus.

These are our second set of poles a different make and these are no where near the quality of the other poles. We tighten them up and every time the let go and slip. The hand wraps are very uncomfortable and find it awkward to grip the handles. The first big hike we used them they let go causing a serious fall.Won't be buying this brand again they are bent and in the garbage after a couple of weeks.

The York Nordic "Man Up" walking poles are excellent not only for providing stability, but also giving you an upper body workout while walking. The locking mechanism works very well. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for an excellent set of walking poles.
