Warm amber light. You control the on and off, no sensor. It was exactly what I wanted, the weight was heavier than I expected but it caused no problems.

This salt night light is such a vibe! I love having soft, low lighting in the morning and right before bed, and this is perfect for that. It gives my bathroom a warm, cozy glow without being too bright, creating a super relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a night light that adds both function and ambiance, this is it! These little night lights produce a soft warm glow without the blue light that can throw off your sleep cycle. I have several placed throughout the house to prevent nighttime stubbed toes, stepping on cats, and being able to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and still get back to sleep.The incandescent 7 watt bulbs included to me are too bright and harsh. I use GE specialty LED 4 watt equivalent bulbs. They are just the right brightness, are not harsh and use only .5 watts. That way I’m not concerned about having 7 or 8 of these in the house on 24/7 (they do have an ON/OFF switch if you don’t want them on all the time). The only thing that would make them better is if they had a battery backup for power failures. With these bulbs they could last a while.If you want a night light with a warm glow, this is the one.

I purchased this item for placement in my home. Because my oldest daughter who has respiratory/heart issues had a larger version & was not sure if it was helping/hurting her, I only purchased little night light. I researched several items on Amazon & based up reviews/information in description, I purchased this night light.I was still unsure where in my larger home to place it, in my office where I am most of the day, in the rooms where cats had been, or in bedroom where sleeping. On impulse, I took this night light with me when transporting my youngest daughter to dr. appt, who has a terminally ill lung disease to see if she wanted it. YES she did want it.After leaving it with her, I received email asking me to review night light. How would I know if it was working, if I didn't have it anymore? Next morning I woke up to unsolicited answer via text message from her regarding night light.Because her 9 yr old son is mouth breather due to respiratory problems, she wakes up several times a night and checks up on him. She had placed the night light near the bed, and noticed that for the first time in long time, his mouth was closed. He kept moving towards the light in his sleep as though his body KNEW this light was good for him. Breathed well all night long with mouth closed.She on the other hand, being very sensitive to all odors/air quality issues, said it was just "killing" her lungs. But because it was helping her son, she was very pleased and kept it turned on. She is single mother now on disability and is extremely poor, so buying her own was out of question. Now I will know I could probably buy bigger one for her, and may buy several night lights for me too.Thank you for this product.

I have these in every room in my house only con is they do sweat since it is Himalayan salt so don’t have anything of value underneath the light because once the sweat dries it crystallizes.

This light casts a lovely, warm, soothing glow, just the right amount of illumination. I keep re-buying it whenever the bulb blows. Wish they sold replacement bulbs.
