I live in a heavily wooded area that is an absolute haven for all sorts of bugs, including mosquitoes! Bugs have ruined many backyard gatherings for me and my family, but we like sitting outside and hate to wear bug spray. Consequently, I decided to give the bug zapper a try. It works much better than I thought it would! The bugs seem to be attracted to the blue light, especially at night. It effectively zaps all manner or flying insects, from wasps to moths to mosquitoes. It has significantly reduced the number of bug bites we’ve all gotten on summer nights, and therefore increased our ability to enjoy outdoor gatherings. I love this zapper so much that I purchased them for some family members, who hate bugs even more than I do! It’s very light weight, making it easy to travel with or move to an area of higher bug activity. It is easy to clean out the trap when it fills up with bugs. It is quite durable. It’s impossibly simple to use: just plug it in and let it do its magic!

The reason I purchased this product is because of all the flies and gnats I've been getting around my house and inside as well because more often than not I leave my screen door open for my dogs to come in and out easily. And being in Florida does not help one bit at all with all of it.So, when I purchased it, I was skeptical at first because I didn't want to use any repellent because of my dogs around the house, and I was afraid it might hurt them, but this bug zapper compensates for it, and it has really worked wonders. I have one outside hanging near my back door and one inside as well, close to the window. They both get all the annoying little bugs. You can certainly hear the zaps from all the way upstairs, and it's pretty satisfying, to say the least.The cleaning is easy by twisting out the bottom and dumping it in the trash can and twisting it back on. Just the downfall is that it is quite disgusting, but at least it does its job quite well. I have yet to replace the bulb because I've only had it for a couple of months, but it seems like it's lasting for a while with all the bugs that it's been zapping away. Furthermore, it is extremely quiet, you don't hear any buzzing noise like from other zappers. It's just a bulb, it attracts the flies and zaps them, and that's pretty much it. The grill around the zapper is tight, so you don't have to worry about accidentally touching the bulb as well, and it's light to carry, so you can hang it on a lot of things without worrying that it might drag down or fall.

I bought two different bug zappers to compare side by side. Even though this one has a dimmer light, it actually attracts and zaps more bugs. It does exactly what it says—kills flying insects fast. I’ve used it outdoors, and the coverage is solid. No issues with setup, and the 3-prong plug feels more secure than others I’ve tried. Definitely impressed so far. Wish it had an on off switch so I don’t have to keep unplugging it when I don’t wanna use it

We ordered two of these sitting outside on my brother's deck while getting devoured by gnats and mosquitos and had them delivered Prime the next day - got them hung up and the bugs were gone! The give off a perfect amount of glow, are not very noisy at all, are easy to hang and keep away from the kiddos. We already had 2 of them at our house and have used them for the past 2 years. Great value for the product!

This product works exactly as advertised, just plug it in and let it zap the bugs away. I have used for the two days since it arrived and the pesky bug population has been reduced significantly. It has a blue light that attracts the bugs. It is well built and light weight. It is quiet and easy to clean. They even include a small brush for cleaning. Very pleased with the purchase.

This is very good. Follow instructions and keep at least 20 feet away from where you are because the bugs will come. Also make sure you clean it often. This attracts so many bugs I have to clean it after every use.
