U have to look at the airline and airport regulations on the size of bag you can take on a Cary on.

Q: Does this have ykk metal zippers?

They do not appear to be YKK brand zippers, but the duffel bag does have metal zippers on it. The smaller travel bag has a (very hard) plastic zipper tab to pull on.

Q: It didn’t arrive with the shoulder strap and the description says it includes a shoulder strap. When will I get it? That’s false advertisement!

The strap was in one of the pockets for us.
