Maasdam MPT203 Trailer Wiring Kit with 4 Way Flat 60-Inch Connector for Vehicle and Trailer End

The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the fact I had to make it longer by connecting another foot of wire to the overall length. (fortunately I had some left over 4 wire same colored cable from another wiring job on my towed vehicle) It's really not the manufacturers fault for it not being long enough rather than me not considering the routing of this cable from my motorhome to the towed vehicle. Other than my own snafu, the cable & four way flat coonectors works fine.

I bought this specifically to bring power to a fairing I installed on my motorcycle. I bought the 60" (5 ft) 4-wire kit. I am using 3 of the 4 wires; power, ground and accessory power. I left one wire "dead." I use the connector to be able to easily and quickly detach wiring to/from my fairing for when I want to remove the fairing. I also bought some flexible wire loom to protect the wiring as it runs up my motorcycle. The connection is secure and it's the perfect kit for my fairing.

I drove away from my trailer without disconnecting the cable harness and ruined both ends. I cut this cable in half and used it to repair both the trailer and truck wiring. Quality is good, I'm actually happy as these connectors are better than what I had before. The instructions also helped me spot that there was an error in the way I'd originally wired the trailer and truck, which fixed some flakiness I was experiencing with the turn signals.

Messed up the wire harness on my utility trailer and needed a plug with wire long enough to reach well back into the tongue. This did the trick and the price was good. Cut off the end I didn't need, spliced things together and I'm in goo shape now.

Worked well for what I needed. Molding is a little cheap but it's to be expected for a cheap item. looks like it will hold up for a while.

I ordered two of theses because I tow different length items. They work perfect so far. I use one for a small SUV and use both when I tow my long truck. Glad I ordered two of them.

Item delivered in original packaging, as described, and shipped promptly. Though it's purpose is to be an extension, I cut it and used one end of it to wire a vehicle for trailer lighting and the other end to put a much needed new plug on my trailer. Much cheaper route than purchasing wiring harness.Thank you

Solid construction and the connectors fit snugly. Fits me need to extend my present trailer wiring and should last a long time, since I do not leave it out in the weather, but move it into and out of my vehicle as needed.
