I purchased six (6) of these fire balls for my home and trucks. I placed four (4) of them in the house and garage and (2) in my trucks. I have one in the kitchen near my gas stove, one in the family room near my gas fire place, and one next to my gas hot water heater. I will mount one next to my breaker box in the garage and I keep one in both of my trucks.I love these things! They are much larger than I expected and I plan to order a few more as I keep finding more locations I need to protect. The manufacturing and the expiration dates are clearly printed on the fire balls and all of the hardware you need is included in the package.When placing the fire balls, remember to consider where the fire may occur and YOUR proximity to the actual fire if you ever need to toss the fire ball into the flames. I keep extra fire balls in the house and know where they are if I need extra ones.These fire balls really give me some peace of mind and being a prepper, I believe in forward thinking.

I recently discovered that self-actuating fire extinguishers exist. I am no expert in firefighting; this is just my opinion. You should do your own research. However, I have a basement full of clutter which I am trying to get under control, but this Flamebuster by SereneLife seems to be the silent guardian I have been looking for. If there is a fire, the extinguisher will go to work even if nobody is home. The unit (SLF113B) is about three lbs. in weight, about 6 inches in diameter, and comes with a little basket which can be mounted easily with the screws and sheet rock anchors included. I recommend using 1/8" pilot holes if you are mounting it into solid wood like a floor joist. Once you have installed the bracket, you just roll the ball into it and forget it. The extinguishers work best if mounted a few feet above the possible source of the fire, but apparently you can also lob them directly into a fire where they will blow up and spread fire-retardant chemicals that will put out the fire, depending on its size. Numerous videos online show these gizmos in action. Some reviews are positive, and some are not. One amateur tester is filmed pouring quarts of gasoline onto a bunch of rubbish which he then ignites and tries to put out with a thrown fireball. I think that this is a bit excessive. The things seem to work well for house-type fires. Use your own research and judgement; I think that these fireball extinguishers could save your house or your life. I can now sleep easier knowing that that I have a few Flamebusters in my basement.

There are two ways to use this. You can use it near flammables or near your stove or grill. If a fire breaks out you can rest assured it will automatically bust open extinguishing the flames or you can throw it into the fire itself automatically causing it to self explode extinguishing the flames. It’s made well and is a foolproof way of fighting fires. Great choice and a must have.

This is the perfect addition to our RV. We carry two canister fire extinguishers but due to the rapid escalation of a fire in one of our group’s vehicles at night when they were sleeping, all they could do was escape and did not have time to grab and fidget with the canister extinguishers. They escaped without anything. So as a group we started recommending this solution. This one is 5”. I will order two of the smaller ones for the electronics cabinet and the heater hot water cabinet. Cheap insurance.

This is a great way to save your home. If I'm sleeping it will not only wake me It will douse the fire .I hope I never have to use it. It does not need to be recharged.

Great product, nice to have added protection against fire. Good to put in garage and mechanical room.

I haven't had to use these yet thankfully, but it definitely gave my landlord piece of mind that in the even there is a fire, I have 5 of these things that will take care of anything!

Im a Fornan in the local 254 NJ. Carpenter's Union. I work for a company that specializes in doing Spray foam insulation, and alot of our work is in Manhattan NY. My equipment needs to be protected while on jobs. If you have machinery of heat or combustible elements in a closed room of some sort or "(SHANTI)" what we we call them on the job , you must have a vertical fire extinguisher! This little bad boy solves all my problems when dealing with the New York Fire Departments and Site Safety Personnel. If it puts a foot in the mouth of one of the world's largest cities , well I'd have to say its A Great Product . Without hopefully never having to see it work!!
