Nice bag for the price. Like the handles being on the top as well as the side. The padding is about twice maybe three times as thick as what a typical cardboard box is, It's enough to make sure typical bumps don't reach the guitar finish. You can tell that it's definitely water resistant, but I sprayed Scotchguard on mine, just to be safe.The top pocket is a tad deep and with the small zippered opening, putting picks into would be difficult to retrieve unless you turned the bag upside down and shook it. Extra strings would be my choice. But the bottom pocket is the kicker for anything. You could actually throw 4-5 effects pedals and cords in it.My IYV IJZ 300a fits in it a bit snug just on the sides, but does fit, top to bottom and depth with a little play. This works great for a fender Stratocaster. My son needed a way to transport the guitar safely too and from school and this did the trick. Being able to wear it like a backpack was so convenient.

Good bass guitar bag would be better if it was a little stiffer other than that no problems

Works for what I need it to do.It is big enough to fit a Music Man Axis/EVH Wolfgang. It’s got enough padding to keep around the house. I wouldn’t ever take this out on a gig, much less on the road but for a little bit of protection…you can’t go wrong at this price.
