Our daughter gave my husband a Father’s Day gift with our identical, twin granddaughters handprint on it as a keepsake. She wanted him to use it, but I was afraid he would break it so I’ve ordered one of these with extremely high ratings and I absolutely love it. It is very sturdy. The plate is thick and Whitey and I had no problems putting it on.

We purchased this to hold a large decorative plate. The plate itself is about a quarter in thick and weighs several pounds. This hanger was able to accommodate the plate's size and heft. It feels sturdy and was easy to install and hang. The plate is secure and stability is fine.

My antique plate that my mother gave me finally can hang it up. My plate measures 8 and 1/2 in. It was really tight at first so I pulled on it to loosen it up so it wouldn't break my plate. I was afraid of breaking such an old old plate. Nice coatings on the ends where it attaches to the plate to protect your plate for display.

These are nice plate holders and fit my tea cup saucers just right. Only problem for me was the back bit where the holder is supposed to hang on a nail was too tight against the plate I couldn’t hang them. Had to use a little engineering with some string and made it work. Only negative for me, otherwise they are nice and sturdy and I love the clear covers on the prongs so the edges of the plates don’t get scratched.

Very flimsy. I bought this for an 1883 platter. The metal bent just trying to get the springs to stretch to each end. I verified that it was the correct size I ordered for the size of the platter. I got it in place once and one of the springs slid and the bracket came off. I do not recommend especially if you plan to use this on an antique. Ended up ordering something different. Very disappointed

Not the cheapest but for the difference in cost why take chances?
