I would never know how good this is if I hadn't tried a small handful of others that were each garbage. They would either leak or not shut the water off completely. This will allow you to connect RO to existing water under sink, and it is well made and works perfectly.

Was trying to figure out a way to install a dishwasher in a new kitchen - after the plumbing was complete - not knowing from the beginning a dishwasher would be installed. I thought I'd have to cut the hot water line and splice in a valve and tee. This made the install extremely easy! Removed the 3/8" line to the faucet and installed this valve - connected the 3/8" line to the top and the dishwasher line to the aux. valve - worked like a charmed. Seems well built with smooth 1/4 turn action and fit and finish was equivalent to the double priced brand name valve. Good value and hopefully it will last.

I looked for something like this at the big box stores and Ace Hardware. For some reason no one carries it. They carry the "saddle valves" which do not pass code where I live. Install was super easy and quick. Shut the valve on your cold water line to the faucet under the sink. disconnect water line on closed side of the valve. Add this T with the shutoff. Reconnect waterline to the top. Drill a couple holes and run your line to the fridge. Connect at both ends. Boom! No leaking, water runs to my fridge. No copper line soldering, etc. Pretty much foolproof. I would highly recommend this if you have access to run the icemaker line under the sink.

This product fit perfectly. My application was connecting the under sink water supply lines — they were 3/8” Moen hoses — to my under sink water filter, which uses 1/4” plastic tubing. The hardware store had a million products that were “almost” right. I’m glad I found this one. It seems well made, although the seam on the edge is not perfectly straight, suggesting there may be room for improvement on the manufacturing side. Regardless, it does not leak and meets requirements!

This tee is designed to tie into a 3/8” compression line like the cold water source to a sink. The valve controls the water output from the 1/4” outlet. It fit under a sink and provides a valved connection to a refrigerator ice maker. No leaks and no instruction problems. Very simple to install.
