Monster SOLARA | Solar Powered Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker

Skeptical at first, I have only had them for two days. I purchased two of them. They are extremely easy to pair and set up. The distance for the Bluetooth is descent, but nothing to right home about. The light is a nice feature but they should have enabled it to change with the beat of the music. The sound quality and sound stage is phenomenal and carries a great distance. The build is excellent with style that you will be proud to display. The provided power cord is a nice touch to be able to quickly charge your speakers. And alternately you can charge your phone or other devices using the USB port. I haven't yet tested battery life but so far Monster has met and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend these awesomely versatile and handsome speakers.

The initial set-up took a couple of attempts. I purchase two and could only get one to run at a time. Rather than use your own bluetooth, I'd recommend downloading the Monster Zone app for set-up and control. Much easier.Sound is fantastic. Positioning is key to your listening experience. For best experience I would make sure that you have one set to each side of where you're sitting rather than in front of or behind you. If it's just background "noise", then in front of you is best as you will may find you are raising your voice more than necessary when they are behind you and could also have problems carrying on a conversation (what do you mean turn the volume down?) ;-)My favorite setting is having speakers at about 50% volume and source at 90%. Of course, depending on exactly what your source pushes out, you may not want it THAT loud. In this case, the source I speak of is just my iPhone.Solar charge at high volumes doesn't last quite as long as I expected but, I also don't leave them out in the rain so I take them in and charge them overnight and then set them outside again after work. Remains charged throughout the evening with lights on bright and high volume. On weekends, I leave them outside unless rain is expected and don't typically need to plug in to recharge during entire weekend.I would not call these true outdoor speakers as they warn again moisture and being near water sources which is why I don't leave them out in the rain and don't plan to leave them out in the winter either. But, I'm pretty happy otherwise.

They were better than I expected. The pair works great together as I used them in my back yard. They are weather proof but I wont even take a chance. I always bring them end, but since they are wireless its very easy. The sound it great , the changing colors is assume and the ease of used it fantastic.

The speaker itself is great. However, the sound became distorted and as under warranty returned for repair. Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. The company received the speaker, May 2020 but couldn't locate the device. Multiple calls to customer service, eight and counting. Every response when I call "need to send to management and will contact you in 24-48 hrs" Never happens! Still dealing with this issue after 9 months. Sent a complaint to Better Business Bureau. Beware of this company as their warranty and pride in their product does NOT exist!

Really nice, big, high quality sound. Loud enough for outdoors. Great bass. Easy to bluetooth connect and play music from your phone. (Hold the blue tooth button 5 secs to disconnect another phone which may be preventing you from connecting your phone). Battery lasts a long time, like a least 10 hours without a charge (and without sunlight). The best sound I've heard from a portable bluetooth speaker. One is to get great sound.One warning though, if you turn them up too high, especially with loud bass, they blow easily. Then they sound super fuzzy with each bass beat. This has happened twice to me.

I have had the speaker about 90 days. Had a little trouble pairing it with my other, older Monster speakers. Last few weeks the connectivity is sketchy. Cuts in and out a lot. And the battery does not seem to be holding a charge. Probably going to need to return this if I can. Really sucks.

I just received two of these and overall I'm happy with them. The speaker seems really rugged and the color options and the ability to dim the lights to so many varying degrees is a fantastic feature. The speakers respond really quickly to the app and pairing was really easy both to my phone and to each other. The only downside is the sound quality itself. It's not bad by any means its just not great. They have very little bass especially for a speaker of this size. Keeping the volume low they sound really good, but beyond 50/60% sound quality goes downhill quick. At Higher volume, the low end disappears completely and the higher frequencies Start to sound harsh. The app doesn't have any sort of EQ built in which would probably make a big difference. I’m hoping a future update may add this feature. I got these to use for background music when we have bbq’s and pool parties and for that they'll be great, but if I was planning for this to be the main speaker I listened to all the time I think I'd be disappointed.

I just received my Solara Speaker. Super impressed by the sound quality and overall functions. The sound carries a good distance.(Bonus) One of the best things about the speaker is ....I can sit it and forget it- I don't have to worry if I leave it outside 24/7, because it's made for the elements. The fact that it's waterproof and the waterproof works is ah-mazing!!!. I might have accidentally sat it closer to a sprinkler than I intended- but no big deal- still Works Perfectly!!!y I also love the solar panel for the recharge- eliminates the need for extra cords. Looks like it will stand the test of time to the elements and then some as it appears to be a solid built speaker. The changing of lights or the steady light color is a bonus. Overall- great deal...and just in time for all of our end of summer parties- Bring It Monster!

The speaker is pretty cool and works well. Had a little trouble getting my devices to pair but they did eventually. The app is useless. Only good for controlling the lights and really, who cares.

Pitoyable vendeur...! l'enceinte tombe en panne après 4h d'utilisation ! un important bruit métallique... Le vendeur refuse un retour a sa charge. Après démontage, le haut parleur du bas n'est qu'une membrane lestée par un poids colé, qui dans notre cas c'est décolé... Nouvelle fixation et l'enceinte refonctionne parfaitement. L'impermeabilité est une vue de l'esprit, l'autonomie est ridicule (2 hr env) et le panneau solaire ne recharge pas suffisament pour un usage supérieur à 2h... Breffff un vendeur malhonnête et un produit chinois pitoyable

A week After the warranty period, the speaker started making a huge buzzing sound. Many reviews I read said they had the same issue. Otherwise it is a brilliant product. When it was working it did everything as advertised.I did get a full refund.I chose a Bose Portable Speaker instead, no solar, but hi fidelity and massive sound.
