Makes Wood Repairs Easy — My Go-To DIY Fixer
I’m not a professional woodworker, but I do a lot of small repairs around the house, and this Gorilla Wood Filler kit has been a lifesaver. The filler has a nice, smooth texture that’s easy to spread with the included putty knife — no mess, no fuss.I used it to fill some scratches and dents on my wooden furniture, and it dried pretty quickly. Once it was dry, sanding it down with the block they included made the repair blend right in. I was even able to paint over it without any weird texture showing. It feels durable and hasn’t cracked or shrunk since I applied it. Plus, the fact that it can hold nails and screws means it’s not just for cosmetic fixes — it’s solid enough for small structural repairs too.If you’re like me and want a simple, effective way to fix wood without hiring a pro, this kit is definitely worth having on hand.

good produt
use this to fix a rotten door with wood filler, because the cavity is so big, I apply the filler layer by layer, I got this one and "Minwax Color-Changing 8 Ounce(s) Natural Wood Filler". This product is much better because is more solid and easy to maintain the shape, while the Minwax is too soft. Finally, I sand the surface. Overall, it is a good product!

Happy with the product but would try different brand next time.
Looking at the videos provided, it seems like it's a pretty dry product to start with. I got it what I needed, then mixed thoroughly with a little water until then mixed with body filler spreader until I was happy with the consistency. I would have tried mixing with wood glue if I had any. I used it on my deck for the railing and it came out great.

This is some pretty amazing stuff!
It's only just dumb luck that I found out that this is something that's made by the Gorilla brand. This is the first time that I have tried using a wood filler though. And so, since I haven't tried any wood filler made by any other brands, I don't have any basis for comparison. And after trying Gorilla's wood filler, I doubt that I'll be trying any other brand's wood filler any time soon.Anyway, it's pretty obvious that I would recommend this wood filler, but there's a couple of things that I would suggest to keep in mind. One thing is that, the two options here are not the same size. The kit comes with an 8 ounce tub of wood filler, and the tub that is just a tub of wood filler by itself is a 16 ounce tub. And then, the second thing is that, if you wind up having to sand any of this down after it hardens, then I would suggest wearing a dust mask, or whatever it is that you would usually use to keep from breathing in unwanted air particles. That and some safety glasses that hug your face pretty well. Maybe that's a little too much, lol, but then maybe it's not. Just make sure and read the warnings on the back and you'll see what I mean.

Fills holes in wood
Easy to use and worked well for my project. Filled in a whole on a table leg. Would only use for filling cosmetic holes. I think it would crumble away if you used it for anything structural.

Wood Rot filler
Im only giving 3 stars bc the 2nd one I ordered, the container was cracked pretty badly during shipping. Good thing I opened it up and used it right away as it was starting to dry up. I used this to fill in some wood rot around my windows. After it dried, i used spray paint to match and it looks pretty good. Not perfect but it did the job i wanted it to do w/out having to replace my outside window framing.
